“Bloemen Winkel” means "Flower Shop" in Dutch. Our flower shop was established in 2004 and is located in Jackson, New Hampshire. We pride ourselves in providing the most beautiful and high-quality flowers available. We import an assortment of flowers from Holland each week. We also source farms across the United States and South America. During our growing season we purchase flowers from local growers and also grow and harvest flowers at the shop owner's local farm property. Owner, Carrie Scribner, will work with you to design the wedding of your dreams!

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

My business started when I was planning my own wedding. I love flowers, but we couldn't justify spending hundreds or thousands on real flowers to throw them away in a week when we also found out we were expecting our first child at the same time. In came wood flowers! After much practice, I discovered I have an eye for colors and floral design and now 4 years and MANY weddings and THOUSANDS of home decor pieces later, this is not only my passion but it is also my full time business. From making fairy houses out of rocks, branches, and moss in her backyard to planting her own garden with her grandmother each summer. As a little boy from Mexico, I spent countless hours helping my grandmother in her flower shop, where I first discovered the magic of design and the way flowers can tell a story. Boom & Bloom’s floral style is unapologetically abundant, artistic, and designed to make a statement.

My foundation in floral design began on a small flower farm in Vermont over 10 years ago, where I immersed myself in the full lifecycle of the work—planting, harvesting, and arranging blooms directly from the field. That experience shaped my style: deeply seasonal, textural, and guided by an intuitive understanding of form and color. My aesthetic is loose and intentional, layered with luxurious texture and touched by a sense of intentional wildness. A steward of sustainable design, I avoid floral foam and plastics, and aim to use local materials wherever I can to have the lightest footprint on our planet possible.
