“Let me start by saying that we are not the type to write reviews for anybody - good or bad - but for the sake of future individuals/couples looking to book PK and the Mighty Seven we feel obligated to say that if you are looking for a band to entertain whatever party you are hosting you MUST choose PK and the Mighty Seven. To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. If you are getting married or have a special event in their area you will be doing yourselves an immense disservice not to hire them to make your evening as spectacular as you want it to be.”

“Cannot say enough of the best things about Randall, and have already recommended him to wedding guests who have asked for him! We selected Randall after reviewing dozens of different photographers, we were extremely picky and looking for someone who matched our attention to detail, but had the artistic and empathetic sense to capture the best moments. The quality and style of his images stood out from the crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s natural and sophisticated. Randall was not only our photographer, but acted as our wedding day planner and manager, directing other vendors and even the venue staff itself. I do NOT envy Randall’s job. He had to deal with all our lofty expectations, direct the other vendors and venue staff, manage the bride and groom family dynamics, deal with a wedding party that was enjoying the preparation process, and found key and natural moments with all the most important people in our lives. “Booking Cassie to be my wedding coordinator three months out to my wedding day was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. For example, one of my vendors insisted an additional hour of rental time needed to be added to the wedding day (that would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and Cassie advocated for me, citing their contract, that it was not necessary. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. Mary, the lead floral artist, was skilled in drawing out our opinions about flowers- even things we didn’t think about initially, instilling confidence that our vision would come to life beautifully. The end result certainly exceeded expectations - Mary tailored a gorgeous, unique floral design for us with a beautiful color palette. She went above and beyond by incorporating special Japanese chrysanthemums as a nod to the years I lived in Japan. The dozens of compliments we received from guests were proof of Mary's artistic talents. After our productive initial consultation where we discussed concepts, Mary handled all the planning and execution, making the process smooth and worry-free for me as the bride. Our wedding was a large one, so Chris hired a fantastic second lead photographer and several other photographers throughout the day so our event was seamlessly captured! Another important note - all of our family and other vendors (makeup artists, planners, etc) commented on how great it was to work with Chris, and were excited to work with him on future events - I think this is such an important quality for a photographer, and definitely appreciated how professional and friendly Chris was with EVERYONE!
