I have spent over 20 years in gourmet kitchens across the world. When I came to Texas in 2009 I fell in love with Southern cuisine. After many years in luxury hotels across DFW, in 2016 I created Tex-Med cuisine (modern Mediterranean with a Texan twist) which combines the food of my homeland with the flavors of Texas. My wife, Stephanie, and I opened Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen in 2019 and began offering catering services shortly after.

A former U.S. Army combat photographer and videographer, Paul Slavonik has over 20 years of audio and video production experience. Paul has a B.S. in Audio Production from Full Sail University and is also a graduate of Baker University’s Audio Recording Engineering program. An award-winning filmmaker, Paul has filmed over 160 weddings all over DFW everywhere from chapels on the water to the home of one of the most famous Dallas Cowboys.
