The best wedding band in New England. PERIOD.

We hired Clockwork New England for our wedding in Holderness, NH on 8/31/25 and we were absolutely blown away. Clockwork runs such a professional, caring business, and from our first touch point to our last, we couldn't be more happy with our experience. Ron, the owner, and Patrick, the band leader, were both so attentive to our needs and questions leading up to the wedding. I felt really confident going into the day that they had everything under control and were going to make it a great day. Patrick managed our ceremony cocktail music masterfully - it was perfect. And then the reception... omg. I know I'm biased, but this band was nothing less than the greatest wedding band / cover band I have EVER HEARD. The energy! The entertainment! Our guests are still raving, 2 months after the wedding. My husband and I are big dancers, and we did not leave the dance floor once. It was packed the whole time, from start to finish; even before dinner was served people went out to dance!!! We could not have asked for a better experience on such an important day for us. Guys... when they started playing Pink Pony Club?? Or when the trumpet blasted the first couple notes to Mr. Brightside to bring us back from a band break?!? I couldn't breathe. Absolutely incredible. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU Clockwork New England for making all of our wildest wedding dreams come true. Thank you thank you thank you - we will be taking ourselves back to that day and that dance floor for the rest of our lives.

We first saw Clockwork Boston perform at a friend’s wedding last year and knew we had to have them for our wedding!! Their sound was incredible and they made the night so incredibly fun! Flash forward to our own wedding over a year later on 10.12.25 we couldn’t wait to book them! Leading up to the wedding they were very detail oriented and organized with the order of events and making sure all of our preferences were noted but we left the majority of the set list up to them. Saying they absolutely killed it is an understatement!! The dance floor was packed all night and almost every single guest that I talked to during and after the wedding commented on it being the best live band they ever saw at a wedding and they were so impressed. The band was so interactive on the dance floor we could not have been happier with how they elevated our night! If you want a live band for your wedding that will take care of every detail, THIS is the band you want!!

Clockwork Boston is AMAZING!!! The talent of the musicians and vocalists is second to none! We had the 11 piece band with the brass section and our guests were blown away! The band kept our guests on the dance floor from start to finish and at the night’s end were met with chants of “one more song”! All night we heard our guests saying it was the best wedding band ever. We’ve hired them for 2 weddings and would hire them a third time if we had another daughter. Ron is a consummate professional and his communication skills are second to none. He and his band brought the energy and our guests had the time of their lives. Hire Clockwork…they won’t disappoint!

Clockwork was the talk of our wedding! From the planning process to playing on our wedding day - Clockwork was so easy and enjoyable to work with. They were incredibly talented, fun and energetic. They played a wide variety of music that kept everyone dancing all night long! Absolutely highly recommend!!

We will learn it! Or we can play the actual recording for you to dance to. Dancing to the recording is quite common, and for a lot of couples it removes those "first dance jitters" because they know exactly how it’s going to sound (and quite often they’ve been practicing dancing to the recording). Honestly, you won't offend us in the least if you ask us to "DJ" your first dance!

Most wedding receptions are 5 hours long: 1 hour for cocktails, and 4 hours for the reception (dinner and dancing), and there’s a reason for that. A four-hour reception seems to be the right amount of time to create a very fun atmosphere, to get everyone dancing, and have the energy peak before people get too tired. Keep in mind that after dinner, there is continuous high-energy music until the end of the reception.

During a 4-hour reception, we take two breaks. The first is during dinner when the main course is being served. After dinner we play two dance sets, and bridge the gap between these two sets with the high-energy DJ set (about 15 minutes in length).

Yes. In fact, you can put together your own custom playlist specifying exactly which songs are to be played during each break. Just give us a list, and we'll put it together! Or you can rely on us to put together a great mix to "DJ" the breaks.

No. We perform only one event each day, thereby giving each event our undivided attention. Furthermore, you will never be charged a penalty or extra stipend if your reception happens to be during “crossover” times (from late afternoon into early evening).

Getting your guests to the dance floor and keeping them there is our number one goal; isn’t that why you hire a band in the first place? Having performed at so many weddings in the past, we have a good sense as to which songs to pick to get people on the dance floor. Once the dancing has started, we string songs together into medleys (so there’s not that awkward “dead air” in between songs), gradually building the energy from one song to the next.
