Vox means voice, and we aim to provide the voice of music for all to enjoy. We are passionate about delivering a quality musical experience to all our clients. DJ Alex (also known as DJ Choice), is the owner, founder, and CEO of Vox DJ. He has over 11 years of experience in DJing many weddings, parties, and special events in the Raleigh Durham area. He also occasionally plays at bars and clubs whenever he can. He is the visionary behind "spinning and mixing GOOD music," and he prides himself in knowing when to drop the right song and the right moment. He brings an entertaining style and liveliness to the party, and guarantees a fun and memorable experience for all of your guests. Alex is excited to meet you to create an awesome event!

We’ve had the pleasure of being guests at a wedding for which Alex was the DJ, as well as having him DJ our wedding! Both were an absolute blast. Incredible value for the experience and everything included. Alex did music, microphones, and lights for our ceremony and reception. From when we first reached out, everything was incredibly easy, and we never had any doubt Alex had all our needs covered. He listened well to our vision for the day and fulfilled it perfectly, along with filling in any gaps to match our vibe for the portions of the day where we didn’t have specific music requests. He was a great MC, and everything flowed smoothly all day with no hiccups. We wanted our reception to be an energetic dance party, and that’s exactly what we got! The dance floor was packed the entire night. We’re still getting comments about how much fun people had at our wedding which brings us so much joy!

Alex was such an amazing DJ to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, he was attentive to what we wanted for the music and vibes of our wedding from the ceremony to the end of the night. We really loved the app that he has that allowed both of us to collaborate and add / edit the music and timeline from our phones and iPads. It made everything so convenient and organized! Alex kept the energy up all night on the dance floor and was quick to adapt when we had last minute changes to our timeline. We had multiple people come up to us after our wedding and ask us for Alex's contact information to have on hold for when they get married / for their children's weddings. You are missing out if you don't book with Alex & Vox DJ!

VOX was extremely easy to deal with, when I sent in my initial inquiry they sent me several DJs at different price levels that were available on my wedding date. Each DJ had a video which was great! That’s how we landed on Mario. Mario was awesome - I sent him a couple playlists for each part of the event that I liked and he knocked it out of the park. Especially the dance floor - it was so much fun all of my guests gave props to us for the music but it was ALL Mario. Great customer service as well, I called several times with questions and everyone was super responsive!
