Our one-of-a-kind, beautifully converted horse trailer features hand-crafted cocktails, mocktails, local wines, ciders, and beer on tap. Based in Portland, the Traveling Tavern is a bar inside of a trailer that comes to your wedding or event and ensures the drinks keep flowing. We focus on garden to glass style cocktails with local ingredients, homemade syrups, fresh juices and edible flowers. Not only is the presentation beautiful, it tastes amazing too. Our bartenders are fun, professional and will go above and beyond to make your wedding the best that it can be.

Traveling Tavern has the charm, aesthetic and quality of a handcrafted cocktail bar but with the heart of your favorite dive: that place where customers become regulars who become friends. This is probably because I’ve worked in all kinds of bars throughout my life: from fine dining and cocktail bars to dive bars and neighborhood gems. I’ve taken all of that experience and crafted it into your dream wedding bar.

Traveling Tavern provided amazing bar services for our wedding. From the very first conversation, they knew exactly what to expect and guided us through the process seamlessly, which was so helpful in reducing our wedding stress. Their communication was always prompt and clear, and they were incredibly flexible in accommodating our needs. On the day of the wedding, the bartenders were professional, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better bar experience, and many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. A big thank you to Lindsey and the Traveling Tavern! Lindsey and her husband put together a beautiful display for our wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Lindsey throughout the planning process. Her communication was quick and professional. She had very useful recommendations for alcohol purchasing quantities. On the day of, we were surprised to see the beautiful display board they put together for our special day. We highly recommend hiring Lindsey and the Traveling Tavern for your bar services needs.

I loved working with Lindsey and her traveling tavern! I originally booked her for my engagement party and she did such an amazing job that I also had her for my bridal shower! I had a specific vision in my head for my engagement party with mini tequila bottles and she made that idea come to life, better than I expected! Then for my bridal shower it was citrus themed and she made the most amazing cocktails! Everything was also so aesthetic and cute! Lindsey is the absolute best though! She is so great to work with and really wants to help bring your vision to life! Also the cocktails taste soo good with all of the fresh ingredients. Having all fresh squeezed juice made a huge difference in the quality of drinks. Definitely recommend for any party, event, or wedding!

Faith was so incredibly amazing to work with! Not only was she responsive but she was super flexible on her offerings, and she was SO MUCH FUN to communicate with during the planning process. She made everything easy by providing me with a shopping list, helping me figure out how to get an alcohol permit and even made cute signage for the bar! My guests absolutely adored her, too. Look no further and her hire asap!

Absolutely! Sometimes our vintage horse trailer fits indoors, but if not, we have a satellite bar that we can use for indoor spaces or as a secondary bar if your event is large or spread out. Our satellite bar is a 6 ft red oak bar and has a 100 person maximum

Both! I can pull a temporary liquor license for your event be an all inclusive bar or if you’d like to supply the alcohol, I will make you a customized shopping list of what to get based upon your guest count, hours of service and types of drinks you want served.

Every event is so different! Most people opt to provide the alcohol themselves. In this scenario, the vintage horse trailer is $1200 to rent, the red oak bar is $800 to rent. The bar rental includes the bar itself, an OLCC certified bartender, all barware, cups, napkins, straws, ice, signage, insurance, bistro seating and decor. After selecting your bar, there is a per head fee from $7-$23/head depending on what kind of drinks you are wanting. Beer and wine pours are $7/head, basic cocktails range from $13-15/head and gourmet cocktails using freshly juiced ingredients, homemade syrups and shrubs and gourmet garnishes range from $17-$23/head.

Having been in the service industry for over 15 years and still actively bartending in Portland, I understand drink trends, flavors and aesthetic. I can help guide you towards what your guests would enjoy drinking in each season. Every drink uses high quality ingredients, including fresh juices, homemade syrups and gourmet garnishes. The drinks have stunning presentation, our staff is charismatic and talented, and we get really creative with our non-alcoholic mocktails as well. We love what we do and take pride in exceeding your expectations!

We have weddings booked 18 months in advance and events booked two months in advance. As long as the date is still available, you can book on your own timeline.
