Our fresh, custom, elegantly decorated ice cream wedding cakes are like no other dessert option in Chicago! I have been creating ice cream cakes for decades and have been serving wedding customers in Chicago since 2019, first through Bartleby's Ice Cream Cakes online and since 2024 from the Bartleby's Homemade Ice Cream shop. With my many years of experience providing wedding cakes of all sizes, flavors, and designs and in all kinds of venues and weather, you can be sure that your Bartleby's cake will be beautiful, structurally sound, and delicious!

These are not just ice cream cakes, but delicious, one-of-a-kind wedding cakes that will blow your guests’ minds. We create the ice cream from scratch in our Chicago kitchen just days before delivery, using the finest-quality ingredients, for the most vibrant flavors and luscious textures. Our cakes are fully customizable, from an extensive menu of ice cream flavors, baked goods, sauces, and toppings. You can even make an off-menu request to create the cake of your dreams. Vegan and gluten-friendly cakes are available too!

    Some people first thought I was nuts when I said I wanted ice cream cake at my wedding. But man, am I glad I did and went with Bartleby's! Why go the traditional route when you can have ice cream instead? Rachel and team were so easy to work with. I went pretty crazy on the flavors because there were so many good options. The guests absolutely loved it and said the cake was genius! Rachel also gives great tips so we didn't have any problems with it melting before it was given to our guests, and there are plenty of options for guests with dietary restrictions. If I could do it all over, I would eat more of the ice cream cake - hah!

    Our ice cream cakes were incredibly delicious, and we got so many compliments from our guests! From our tasting to the day of the wedding, Bartlebys had great communication and were wonderful to work with. We were a little worried about the cakes melting by the time they got to our guests, but Bartlebys provided really helpful instructions to our venue, and the slices were delivered to each table in perfect condition. We highly recommend them to other couples!

    My husband and I do not like traditional cakes for any celebration so we knew we wanted to do an ice cream cake for our wedding day. We have ordered Bartleby's ice cream cakes for numerous birthdays and other events and they are absolutely delicious. In addition to being delicious, I was able to work with Rachel to make this Celiac safe and free of any gluten cross contamination with a simple phone call. She made sure to make my gluten free wedding cake the first cake the day, to ensure all of the ice cream equipment was clean. She also works with another gluten free cookie company to add them to the ice cream cake as well. I can’t recommend Bartleby’s ice cream cake enough. Everyone will rave about your dessert and actually devour it!

    My husband and I used Bartleby's for our wedding, and they were fantastic! W had tried their cakes prior to our wedding and loved them, so we knew we had to lock them in for desserts at our reception. We're both vegan, and were thrilled to find a vendor who made quality vegan desserts with a plethora of tasty options, with countless ways to mix and match flavors. Plus, how fun is ice cream cake?! Our guests loved it (it was entirely gone by the end of the evening!) and they also enjoyed the bonus ice cream sandwiches we also ordered from Bartleby's. The entire ordering process was super easy as well, from tasting all the way up until finalizing delivery.
