Welcome to Big Green Truck Pizza! For more than 20 years, we have delighted customers all over Connecticut with delicious pizza served in an attractive, fun atmosphere. Our specially outfitted trucks are genuine antiques equipped with wood-fired brick ovens, tables, and all the ingredients needed to bring a buffet of New Haven pizza to your backyard. We pride ourselves on the quality, variety, and convenience of our pizza, and specialize in bringing a fun, professional atmosphere to every occasion.

We are the ORIGINAL Catering Pizza Truck, the first of its kind in all the Northeast United States. Our trucks are 1940's International Harvestors and we now have an International Harvestor Beverage Truck to complement our fleet of pizza trucks.

    Big Green Truck Pizza was an excellent choice for our wedding catering. From the first time we spoke with them, their communication was responsive, friendly, and professional. Our wedding guests loved the fun pizza truck setup - seeing all the different varieties laid out and watching Big Green cook the pizzas was a real treat. Big Green Pizza truck is an excellent value and a special experience for a wedding. They were a great touch for our fall, outdoor wedding. Communication with them was smooth throughout the process. Ultimately, it mostly comes down to the pizza itself, which was super tasty!

    We had a great time working with the folks at Big Green Truck Pizza for our June 2025 wedding! We had about 90 guests with a variety of dietary needs, and the BGT team was very accommodating and helpful. It was very hot that day, but the team was so kind and understanding. Pizza was delicious, salad was fresh, and the gelato was such a treat (I particularly loved the blood orange one).     We had an incredible experience with Big Green Truck Pizza at our Wedding Welcome Event! Renting their pizza truck was one of the best decisions we made. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The team from Big Green Truck Pizza was professional, friendly, and exceptionally accommodating. They arrived on time and set up efficiently, bringing their signature charm and enthusiasm that immediately engaged our guests. The smell of their delicious pizzas filled the air, setting the perfect tone for a fun and relaxed event. The variety of pizzas they offered was fantastic, with something to please every palate. Each slice was made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection—crispy crusts, flavorful toppings, and mouthwatering cheese. The salad and gelato included made it a no brainer for us! We were looking forward to espresso and cappuccino but I don’t think they brought it to our event. But no one noticed because our guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the food was! They even brought gluten free crusts and made them dairy free for my MIL. The unique experience of having a pizza truck added a fun, interactive element to our event that everyone enjoyed. Big Green Truck Pizza truly elevated our welcome event, and we couldn’t be happier with their service. A huge thank you to the team for helping us kick off our wedding weekend celebrations!

    We rented both the Big Green Pizza Truck and the Bev Truck for our wedding in New Haven and it turned out to be one of the best parts of the reception! Awesome food and great service by the BGT team. There were a couple of small miscommunications regarding finding the venue and set up preferences, but BGT resolved these quickly. They also went above and beyond throughout the service - they helped straighten up buffets that were not even theirs, ensured guests with dietary restrictions got their pizzas made, and were so friendly the entire time! Would hire them again in an instant.
