The artist has a simple and minimal set up that is easy for traveling anywhere and fits into any type of venue. The Candid Canvas is a small business that started up with a dream of bringing together Jodi’s passion for painting and weddings. Jodi is a full time art teacher and has so much joy in sharing art with others. She strives for excellence for her brides and grooms to create something personal, unique, and filled with love. Not only does the couple get a once in a lifetime portrait to take home at the end of the night, but it also serves as an amazing guest experience and entertainment for everyone to enjoy watching the magic of a painting come to life!

The Candid Canvas was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day. From the very beginning, they were easy to get a hold of and quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. Jodi was incredibly creative and attentive to detail, adding personal touches to the painting that truly captured the spirit of our daughter’s special day. As someone who has used The Candid Canvas for 3 of my 4 daughters' weddings, I can confidently say she has hit it out of the ballpark each time, providing us with a beautiful keepsake that we will cherish forever. I highly recommend them to any couple looking for a unique and memorable wedding event extra.

The Candid Canvas was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day!
