In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Here is how it works: Step one, you peruse our Moodboard Collections, get inspired, and buy the perfect blooms. Then you get access to exclusive, full length DIY tutorials! Step two, you recruit your floral A-team. Stock up on wine and get ready to faint as you unbox floral nirvana. Your flowers arrive 3 days in advance. Day 1, you prep. Days 2-3, you design. Day 4, YOU GET MARRIED. Step 3: Brag Your Face Off! Float down the aisle knowing your guests are totally eye-oogling YOUR hard work.

Dream florals and so fun to DIY

I used the Full Monty package for my wedding. Flowers were something I wasn’t looking to spend 10-12k on. Through my calls with the flower moxie team they clearly and efficiently helped me stay within budget and provide my dream florals. I began my arrangements on Friday and transported them 1 and a half hours away and had very very minimal flower loss. My bridesmaids and I made our bouquets the night before and what a beautiful memory. I would recommend flower moxie for anyone looking for a fun diy, beautiful flowers, and budget friendly items.

I used flower moxie to do my florals for my wedding. Overall, I had a great experience. I completed a consult that helped me select the correct florals for my event, quantities, and recipes for my creations. The flowers were delayed by 1 day in delivery, and the delphinium were not able to be used. After sending a picture to flower moxie, they provided a full refund for that flower. The videos were helpful for the prep and my wedding party helped me build arrangements. It was a fun event for everyone to do together. I would highly recommend the consult!

I knew I had some craft skills and did not want to hire a florist, so found Flower Moxie online to do the flowers myself for my daughter's wedding. Maria was very helpful and responsive. I scheduled a phone call to answer my questions and then placed an order for loose flowers and greenery, mixed boxes, and premade wearables and bouquets. I felt the pricing was reasonable. I ordered the vases etc. online along with extra ribbon and pins. Please know you have to refrigerate the wearables, I recommend a wine fridge for the slightly warmer temperature. The flowers arrived as described, and although the corsages seemed small, they actually wore just fine. I was able to add some color to the bridal bouquet with the loose flowers. I found the process to be low-cost, low-stress, and again Maria was so very helpful that I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. My daughter loved what I was able to do.

If you are looking for confirmation as to which DIY flower company to use, I can speak from 6 different ordering experiences. I used a combination of 3 different companies for each of the 6 weddings I ordered for. Hands down, Flower Moxie is the best. From their website, to their amazing videos, to their on-line and/or phone support, the staff at Flower Moxie are professional, fun, extremely helpful, and quick to respond to questions (especially Maria!). After my first experience with Flower Moxie 5 years ago, I wouldnt have wanted to use any other company. One reason I went with someone else was because the bride wanted a flower FM didnt have because it was out of season. Another bride wanted "cheaper" roses...She got them all right! Not from Flower Moxie! In addition to the aforementioned reasons, here's what sets Flower Moxie apart from all the others: 1) on the website, there are "Pros and Cons", "Special care tips", and suggestions for combinations for EACH FLOWER. 2) Their packaging and shipping is the best it can be. 2 days from Columbia to upstate NY in 80 heat and, with proper conditioning, ALL the flowers I got last week arrived flawless! I broke (my fault) the head off 1 spray rose hastily removing it from the wrapping. 3) While their prices are not the cheapest, they are only slightly more expensive than some others, and you can receive free shipping. I will not hesitate for a second to pay slightly more for the peace-of-mind Flower Moxie provides to deliver perfect flowers on time, every time I order. Seriously, stop looking for any other DIY flower company. Flower Moxie is THE BEST
