I have a deep love for cosmetics, I enjoy exploring with colors and always finding the best fit for whoever is in my chair. As a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist, I have a clear understanding of texture, facial and body lines and angles, color theory, and how different types of lighting can affect the appearance of color. During my career as a cosmetologist, I have discovered a great passion working with brides and love to specialize in bridal hairstyle and makeup with a goal to create a fabulous experience.

    I'm sharing my experience in hopes it helps other brides make informed decisions. This is nothing personal against Daniela, who was very nice, but I wish I had known these things prior to booking. I do not live in the area so I did a hair and makeup trial the day before my wedding. Makeup Quality: I specifically requested light, dewy coverage for my bridal look. Unfortunately, what I received was full, heavy coverage that didn't even match my skin tone. The result was so disappointing and far from what I had asked for that I made the difficult decision to have her do only my hair—not my makeup—on my actual wedding day. As a bride, this was incredibly stressful and not at all what I envisioned for such an important day. Hair Service: While the hair on my wedding day was acceptable, it did not match the inspiration pictures I had provided. For a bridal service where you're trying to achieve a specific vision for one of the most important days of your life, "acceptable but not what I asked for" is simply not good enough. Hygiene Concerns: I was very concerned about the hygiene practices during my appointment. Lipsticks were applied directly from the tube onto my lips, as were lip glosses and liquid eyeliners. The brushes used on me did not appear to have been cleaned beforehand. These practices are not sanitary and pose risks for cross-contamination and infection. Professional makeup artists should be using disposable applicators, sanitizing products between clients, and using freshly cleaned brushes. This is especially important for lip and eye products. Pricing Issues: When I initially booked, I was quoted one price for what I understood to be a bridal consultation. However, when it came time to pay, I was charged a different (higher) amount. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told that a "bridal consultation" and a "trial" are not the same thing. However, this distinction was never explained to me upfront, and I've since learned that she doesn't actually offer a separate bridal trial service. What's more confusing is that her current pricing shows the consultation costs the same as a full hair and makeup service. I felt blindsided by the final charge and wish this had been communicated clearly from the beginning. Overall: For the price charged (equivalent to full bridal hair and makeup), I expected professional results that matched my requests, transparency in pricing, and basic hygiene standards. Unfortunately, none of these expectations were met. I cannot recommend this artist for bridal services.

    Dani worked with me and all 8(!) of my bridesmaids for our wedding. She is immensely talented at both hair and makeup, which is very convenient for a busy bride! She listens intently to your needs/wants and is flexible every step of the way. Her portfolio is vast and she can really accommodate anything you want--from minimalist to modern to traditional looks. She fit right in with my family and friends, so it felt natural to have her with us on my big day. I would highly recommend her to any bridal party!

    Dani did my hair and makeup for my wedding and did an amazing job. I absolutely loved it. We did a trial ahead of time and she worked with me to figure out what would look best for my special day. I couldn’t have been happier with the results. I would highly recommend her.

    Daniela is an amazing hair stylist and makeup artist who specializes in wedding day applications. Her unique style and artistic flair brings out the absolute best in her clients. She’s a beautiful person inside and out. I’ve been so fortunate to work with her on a number of occasions and I love when we get to collaborate together. She is one of the best in the business in the Berkshires and beyond. I cannot say enough about her work ethic, kind heart and her ability to make her couples look their absolute best. She is truly talented, always on time and does the work to keep you on track the day of your wedding. When you select Daniela, you’re selecting peace of mind, and someone who truly cares about you - wanting you to look and feel your absolute best. If I could give her 10 stars I would in a heartbeat.
