I found my passion early in life and was crazy enough to pursue the idea of sharing it with the world. I don’t believe in such a thing as “too much” when it comes to expressions of love – especially when it’s a wedding! I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in photojournalism from the University of Missouri, *cough cough* known as the best journalism school in the nation. Throughout my schooling, I trained closely with award-winning photojournalists Rita Reed and David Rees, and I’ve worked with organizations like the Washington Post and USA Today. In my limited spare time, you can find me hiking in the mountains or eating Del Taco.
I've never done anything else with my life other than wedding photojournalism. This is what I was called to do. Telling these stories is what drives me each and every day, and you won't find a more dedicated wedding photographer.

Vegas Elopement
Amber is simply incredible. She was a joy to work with and made us feel extremely comfortable. We could not be happier with our photos. Her style matched perfectly with our Vegas elopement wants and needs. She was able to capture every moment of our day easily and made the experience stress-free. She was prepared for things we never would have even thought of. She made us look fantastic. I would give a million stars if I could.

We were thrilled to have Amber Garrett Photography capture our wedding day. From our very first interaction, Amber's communication style was prompt, professional, and warm. The quality of her work is beautiful. Amber made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which was especially important since we were a bit nervous about being photographed. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, which was extremely helpful in planning our photo locations. Amazing
Amber was absolutely amazing!! She is so great and easy to work with. I have a very type B personality and absolutely hate planning. Amber was really instrumental in helping create a timeline for the day. I was also not super familiar with Vegas and she made it really easy for me by providing samples for places she’s previously done pictures. She was also really helpful on the day of with small last minute changes, and helping to ease all of our anxieties. I was a little hesitant at first because the pricing was a little bit out of our budget, but after my first video meeting with Amber I knew she was well worth the price! I would 100% use Amber again and recommend her to anyone!
