My name is Dan, and I created this business because I believe marriage is an incredibly beautiful and miraculous thing. Your wedding is important, yes, but it's the marriage that lasts (well, that and your wedding photos). This is what I try to capture through my photography - your mutual love and respect, your quiet confidence in one another, and the enduring nature of your commitment. I want your photos to be a reminder to you through the years of how much you loved one another at the beginning, and how much more you've grown in your love.

I capture images that are timeless. I believe that if your marriage is supposed to last, then your wedding photos should, too! I don't chase trendy styles or "looks," and I have a very simple, but elegant editing process that I've honed over fifteen years of shooting. I draw my inspiration from the colors and contrast of film, which was my first introduction to photography.

    Dan Zang Photography was simply amazing to work with on our wedding day. Their communication style was clear, concise, kind and confident, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was great, out of the box, curated and professional. Dan was open to any idea for a photo and would add types we didn't even think about. He also floated around the whole event capturing all the angles while not making a scene - the guy moves like Batman in the shadows! Dan is a very professional and kind person to work with, and he did a great job editing the photos in a timely manner.     We truly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. Dan has an incredible ability to capture the emotional and intimate moments while never disrupting what was naturally unfolding. Nothing ever felt staged or interrupted, but he was able to still capture intentional and high quality photos. You can tell Dan understands the weight of each moment. He isn't just taking pictures, he is capturing a memory and the feeling of the moment, and that is absolutely priceless. While we were driving back to our Air Bnb after the wedding ceremony, we saw an adorable chapel on the side of the road near the beach. I made a comment about how adorable I thought it was--and Dan suggested that we stop and spontaneously take photos in front of the chapel. These turned out to be some of our favorites that he captured. Dan is fun, professional, reliable and we FULL-HEARTEDLY would recommend him to anyone wanting the most important day of your life preserved with photos!
