Hi there! We're the team behind Duet Photography & Video. We're a collection of wedding photographers, filmmakers, designers, and editors. We each have our own story of how we've come to be a part of this incredibly field of wedding journalism. As individual as we are, we're all bound by the same love for our craft – the artistry of blending documentary journalism with stunning, creative vision. With over a thousand weddings under our collective belts, we've photographed and filmed weddings of every shape and size imaginable. We can't wait to document your wedding as well!

Duet's been documenting love stories since 2005, so long ago that we used to shoot videos on actual film! Now we use the most modern equipment to create stunning work, but our focus on photojournalism and storytelling has remained the same. Our mission is to deliver works that aren't just beautiful visually, but jaw dropping emotionally.

Amazing Experience with Duet!

We had a fantastic experience working with Hanel & the Duet team for our May 2025 wedding! Hanel was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding and made things run smoothly the day of. They were so good at helping everyone pose and look their best and were truly some of the kindest people to work with! While photo and video were super important to me, I didn’t want the day to feel like a photo shoot either. The Duet team were experts at making sure we got all the shots I wanted while also letting the day flow naturally. They were the first vendor we booked (after our venue) and I’d hire them again in a heartbeat!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Duet for our wedding on May 17, 2025, at Giorgio's, and we truly can’t say enough amazing things about them! From our first meeting to the final gallery delivery, the Duet team was professional, responsive, and genuinely passionate about capturing our day. On the wedding day itself, they were kind, patient, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. They made us and our families feel completely comfortable and confident, managing to be everywhere at once without ever being intrusive. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. The photos exceeded our expectations and are absolutely stunning. Every detail was beautifully captured, from candid laughs and quiet moments to dancing full of energy. We’ve looked through our gallery at least a hundred times, and each time it brings the day back to life. I was extremely selective when it came to choosing a photographer. After hours of research on the BOLI Facebook group and Instagram, I found Duet and knew they were the one. Their use of natural light makes every photo look breathtaking. Hanel was so kind and great to work with, incredibly responsive and answered every question I had. Michael, who photographed both our engagement session and the wedding day, was amazing. You can tell he’s deeply passionate about his work and dedicated to capturing exactly what you envision. Esther was our second photographer, and she was very sweet and helpful too. Levi was our videographer, and he was awesome. So fun and cool to work with. I’ve attended many weddings, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen photos like these. They are bright, airy, timeless, cinematic, and just beautiful. If you’re looking for a team that’s talented, reliable, and truly cares about telling your story, Duet is it. They didn’t just deliver a gorgeous gallery. They gave us timeless memories we’ll treasure forever. Thank you, Duet, for making our wedding unforgettable!

We had a great experience working with the Duet photo/video team. Communication and planning with Hanel leading up to the wedding were handled promptly and efficiently. Mike, who also photographed my bridal shower, was a pleasure to work with. He always showed up on time and listened to our wants/desires for coverage of both events. Mike and the crew always provided helpful pose suggestions, made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and managed our large family group with patience and organization. We couldn’t be more grateful! The photos were beautiful!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with the Duet team! From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive, answering all our questions and putting us at ease. My husband and I initially felt a little awkward in front of the camera, but Mike and his team gave us the perfect amount of direction to help us relax and enjoy the moment. They followed our photo list perfectly, while also pivoting seamlessly whenever we wanted an extra shot or when last-minute changes came up, like moving first look photos from the park to the hotel courtyard when it rained (which still turned out stunning, you would have never known!). My bridal party and family absolutely loved working with them, and once the party started, they blended into the background, capturing the most beautiful candid moments without us even realizing they were there. One of my absolute favorites was the set of night photos we decided to do last minute—they came out magical. The entire team was professional, kind, and beyond talented. I’m in love with both our photos and the video—they perfectly capture the joy of the day. I was very picky when it came to photographers, researching extensively through Instagram and BOLI fb group before finding them. Their use of natural lighting makes every photo look breathtaking, and after seeing their work, I knew I had to have them for my wedding. Mike, Hanel, and the whole team exceeded every expectation. We will treasure these memories forever!
