Hello! We’re Hunter & Sarah — high school sweethearts, ocean enthusiasts and professional wedding & portrait photographers. We’ve been married for more than two years, but have been together since the 11th grade. The only thing more important to us than making new friends and our weekly date night is our faith! Since picking up our first camera almost a decade ago, we’ve had a gift for making others feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. We deliver incredible images, but more importantly we give our clients an incredible experience — every step of the way.

As a husband-and-wife team, we're uniquely suited to capture each and every moment of your wedding day! We've photographed over 100 weddings together, meaning we know exactly how the other thinks throughout the day -- very different from a professional photographer and their second shooter! We also consider ourselves "Co-Lead Shooters" -- there is no "boss" and "assistant" in this wedding photography duo! Plus -- being husband and wife allows us to show (rather than explain) how we may want you two to interact on the wedding day. And it creates lots of laughs!

    I had the pleasure of working with Hunter and Sarah Photography for my surprise engagement in Charlottesville, Virginia, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make the entire experience seamless, meaningful, and beautifully captured. Hunter was incredible to work with in the lead-up to the big day. He was warm, responsive, and extremely helpful as we planned the logistics for a proposal on the Grounds near the Rotunda. He offered thoughtful guidance on timing, positioning, and locations, and even helped me figure out where family members could hide nearby without giving anything away. Throughout all of our communication, he was patient, organized, and genuinely invested in helping me create the perfect moment. On the day of the proposal, Sarah was phenomenal. She blended flawlessly into the environment to keep the surprise intact - my fiancée had absolutely no idea she was there. Sarah captured the proposal beautifully and then guided us through a relaxed, fun 30 minute photo session around the area. She seamlessly captured both posed and candid moments, and the photos reflect that. What blew us away even more was the same-day turnaround. Within about six hours, we had fully edited photos in our inbox. My fiancée was over the moon and immediately shared them with family and friends. Hunter and Sarah are not only talented photographers, but genuinely kind people who care deeply about their clients. If you are planning an engagement, wedding, or any special moment, I can’t recommend them highly enough. We’ll definitely be considering them again for our wedding!!

    I used Hunter & Sarah for a family photoshoot for my parents anniversary. Most of us struggle in front of the camera but these two made us laugh and thoroughly enjoy the experience. The pictures are amazing and now displayed all throughout my parents home! I highly recommend this sweet couple.
