I’m located in Boston, Massachusetts, but I’ll travel anywhere for an adventure to document your wedding story. Dance under the moon, frolic in the woods, or find your vibe downtown. Wherever your love takes you, I’ll be there to capture it. My goal is to document the moments that matter most, the big and small pieces of your day that reflect the most authentic version of your love. Together, we’ll make magic happen!

Let me be your third wheel. I love experiments and personal projects. Finding new perspectives and breathing in new life into old boring scenes is what inspires and gets me excited! You'll always find me being creative in one way or another and I want to share that creativity with my clients in a way that excites them and invokes confidence!

    My wife and I worked with Eli for our engagement and wedding photos. We spent a lot of time searching for the perfect photographer to capture everything - focusing on candid moments, emotions, relieving the awkwardness, and generally someone we could trust to use their own judgment and need little guidance throughout the day. Eli was exactly the right person for the job. We clicked right away, with an intro call where he answered all of our questions and joked around with us to relieve our anxiety. He looked up our venue and already started making suggestions for how he would shoot and edit everything. He worked out a unique package deal with us to fit our needs and budget - we wanted to shorten the engagement session and tack that time onto our wedding day. He drove over an hour after work (he’s a nurse!) to our town for the engagement session just to ensure we’d get the perfect sunset vibe. We had a blast and the photos turned out better than we could have imagined. When it came to the wedding day, he kept us in the loop and arrived perfectly on time, got himself set up and took control of the situation seamlessly. He meshed so well with our whole group and helped keep us on schedule while also sneaking away to capture detail shots we never would have thought of. We had given him a list of things we wanted and he reminded us of them throughout the night which was so helpful. He was overall extremely kind and professional, while also having an approachable, relaxed energy that eased our fears. It is clear that this is a passion project for Eli, as each photo came to us carefully edited with every special detail highlighted perfectly. We are just in awe of the gallery of over 1,000 photos from our wedding night. Many of the photos we did not even realize he was getting in the moment. The return time for photos was a bit on the longer side (just over 12 weeks) but this is WITHOUT A DOUBT well worth it. He kept us updated as we were waiting, and not to mention, he offered us some print credit to make up for the time! My wife and I agree that we couldn’t have picked a better photographer for our wedding, and these photos will be cherished forever. Sorry for the long review, but you need to know all the reasons why Eli is the guy to hire!

    Eli was a delight to work with from start to finish! He was responsive, flexible and professional. On the day of the wedding, his positive energy was infectious, which helped us relax and enjoy our wedding that much more. And we couldn't be happier with the quality of the pictures we got back! He has such a passion for what he does and it shows in his work. We can't reccommend him enough!

    Working with Moon Waves Photography was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Eli's communication style was professional, open-minded, down-to-earth and understanding throughout the entire process. The quality of his work and value he provided was excellent - he was extremely helpful, generous and friendly, and he is a true master of his craft. He picked up on every special moment, took us out for thoughtful photo shoots at just the right times, and went above and beyond to capture every beautiful detail of our wedding day.
