Nick Welsh Photography

My name is Nick and I've been a photographer for the better part of a decade. I find that I'm happiest when the camera is in front of me. I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. My natural inclination is to create. I'm a midwest guy from Ohio. I currently live in Washington, DC with my wife, Annie, my daughter, Juniper, and my boxer, Duke. I love food, music, and traveling. I also love extra legroom on airplanes. In my dreams, if I wasn't a photographer, I'd be playing drums for John Mayer.

My couples tell me they love how laid back I am. If something goes awry - and they often do, then you can turn to me for comfort knowing that'll be alright and we'll figure it out. My job as your photographer is not only to make memorable photos but to enjoy the process along the way. If I haven't made you feel comfortable I have done my job. Gone are the days of stiff, boring, and downright awful photos.
