My name is Melissa Kelly! I am a Boston Metrowest based wedding photographer! I live in Grafton, MA with my wonderful husband and my two energetic boys! Photography has been a family hobby for my entire life! My father and I have always shared a special bond over our creative and artistic side and my maternal grandfather even had a dark room IN his home! It's in my blood! I am so excited to be able to share my passion with others!

I'm very friendly and energetic! When it comes time for your wedding day, I will be present and integrated into all of your moments! Right down to the dance floor! I have never left a wedding without feeling like a part of the family, or without most of the guests informing me that I am the most fun photographer they have ever met! What can I say, I'm a social butterfly! And if I am taking a night away from my boys, you bet I'm going to make sure to make it fun! I will do everything in my power to not only capture the moments of your day, but also to enhance them!

    We absolutely loved working with Melissa! She was fun, creative, and completely self-sufficient! She took initiative with posing and shots, arrived early, and stayed late to make sure everything was captured. She was also incredibly flexible with payments, and her sneak peeks and full gallery turnaround were amazing. We truly adore her, and so did the rest of our vendors. Highly recommended!

    Melissa is just awesome!! She absolutely killed our engagement and wedding photos. I haven't received them all yet, but she sent a sneak peek with 120 photos at 3am (!!!!!) the night of our wedding! Waking up to these phots was incredible. So many of my guests complimented her, and her second shooter Ashleigh, on how much fun they had! They were out dancing with us. 10000/10!!

    Photography by Melissa Kelly was incredible! From the moment we first spoke with her, we were impressed by her confidence and professional communication style. On our wedding day in Rochester, MA, she vibed with everyone and didn't miss a shot opportunity with our 160 guests. The quality of her work is simply beautiful - we got our sneak peek and the photos are stunning.     Both my engagement photos and wedding photos were taken by Melissa! Honestly, she was the best! (And it should be noted, I am picky with pictures haha) While "wedding planning" some people recommended I hire a videographer, but with Melissa's photos I didn't even need one! She captures every moment, even ones you didn't realize were being captured. It's like reliving my day every time I look at these photos. There is a lot of beauty in her editing, lighting, and angles. She gives you pose ideas too for those who are a little camera-awkward. Plus I got sooooo much positive feedback from wedding guest about how much they loved her the night of the wedding due to her amazing, fun personality, but then when they saw the outcome of the photos afterwards, everyone including my husband and I were (even more) impressed. I absolutely recommend Photography By Melissa Kelly. You will get beautiful photos and memories a genuine kind person to hang out with on your special day :) I honestly can't thank her enough, hands down!
