We’re Rob and Christy, a film + digital photography and videography duo based in Portland, Oregon. Rooted in the Pacific Northwest, we craft timeless portraits and cinematic storytelling that’s as unique as your love story. Whether you’re planning an engagement session, elopement, wedding, or something else, we’re passionate about capturing you!

We blend the nostalgic magic of film with digital photography. Whether it’s 35mm film, dreamy handy cam footage, Super 8 video, or crisp digitals, our hybrid approach adds soul and texture to your story. We also travel (literally, we’ve been all over from Puerto Rico to Hawaii)! From the PNW's wild coastlines to misty mountaintops or international elopements, we’re always down to chase light and love wherever your story takes us. We would describe our style as editorial meets documentary with some classic influence. Or timeless with a filmic touch! Our goal is to give you beautifully composed moments that still feel authentic and natural.

    Pixel & Film were lovely. From our very first interaction, they were kind and professional, putting us at ease throughout the entire process- which was nice so we didn’t have to try and think of every little detail. We loved the natural, authentic tones in their work, which felt true to our style. On the day of, we got a bit behind schedule, but they stayed late to capture all the special moments that meant so much to us. Their dedication and passion for their craft truly shone through, and we are thrilled with the beautiful photos that now allow us to relive our wedding day.
