Husband & Wife Photo & Video

We are a husband and wife team and offer both photo and video. I do photo and Josh does video. We met at a little mom and pop pizzeria. He was a delivery driver, I was the new cashier girl. We fell in love over pizza and live music and started The Jarrells hand in hand back in 2016. We love getting to know our clients and becoming friends. We feel like this helps to create some really honest and unposed footage. Our style is a blend of documentary and editorial/posed. We love documenting the real and honest moments throughout the day. The raw emotion. The genuine laughter. It’s our goal to create imagery that is romantic and human.

We offer both photo and video in both digital and film formats (think 35mm and super 8 video) all in house. We've been shooting weddings together for a decade and are comfortable in every situation you can image. Plus we are fun ;)

Book them. Just do it. A few years ago, I stumbled across Heather’s work on Instagram and was instantly in awe. I told myself right then that when my big day came, she would be my photographer. Fast forward over six years later, when it was finally time to plan my wedding, the only thing I was absolutely certain about was having Heather capture it. It was my non-negotiable and choosing Heather and Josh was truly the best decision we made. I didn’t want the kind of photography where you just stand, pose, and smile. I wanted something natural, relaxed, and true to who we are. Heather and Josh gave us exactly that. They have such a gift for blending into the day and capturing moments as they happen. Honestly, I found myself forgetting we even had a photographer and videographer there because they were so seamless and effortless in the way they worked. Looking it even just our sneak peeks, I’m blown away by how beautifully they told the story of our day. Every laugh, every tear, every little in-between moment was documented with so much care and artistry. Their team is simply incredible, and I couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with such important memories. Heather and Josh aren’t just photographers… they’re storytellers. And I will forever be grateful that they told ours.

Heather and Josh were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From our very first interaction, they made the entire process smooth as well as stress-free. Photography and documenting our day was priority #1 when it came to wedding planning for my husband and I, and chosing Heather & Josh was the easiest and best choice we made! From engagements to wedding day, they made us feel so comfortable and cool in front of the camera. They really take the time to get to know their clients and their vision, and I think this really reflects in their work.
