Lauren’s love for photography started in college at The Ringling School of Art and Design. She’d photograph her friends and piles of junk for fun with an old 35mm film camera. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration in 2003 and moved to New York City for a career in illustration and design. After years of being frustrated by the lack of a yard, Lauren moved to Athens Georgia, fell in love with the south, started taking pictures of people in love with her best friend, called it Twin Hearts Photography, and the rest is history!

Twin Hearts Photography has 9+ years of professional wedding photography under their belts. They've been featured in a bunch of super great wedding blogs like Borrowed & Blue, Project Wedding, Southern Weddings, 100 Layer Cake, and Ruffled. Also they shot a wedding where Paul Rudd sang a song during the reception (published in the Hollywood Reporter) so, life achievement unlocked. Their vision pretty straightforward : to capture emotions and memories as effortlessly and natural as possible. They're friendly and fun-loving, never pushy or over-bearing. And really, they just love LOVE!
