Based in Western North Carolina we have extensive knowledge and experience in the area. Our team has long-standing relationships with local vendors, venues, breweries, restaurants, and attractions.     I have worked with Heidi and team on 4 separate occasions! The first time was for my Mom's 75th birthday party with a throwback 50s diner theme, my Dad's 80th birthday weekend which included coordinating guests coming from out of town, my team Fall Planning event and finally our family reunion. I cannot speak highly enough for the level of communication, professionalism and creativity that was put into each and every event. The team was simply amazing and took a tremendous amount of stress off of me. Heidi attended to every detail and made all of our guests feel incredibly special. She is a great communicator, detail oriented and will make your vision come to life! I would not even attempt to have an event in Western Carolina area without her!

    Kirin was absolutely incredible and played a huge part in making our wedding day go so smoothly. From the start, she was super organized, calm, and just really easy to work with. She helped take all the stress out of planning and made the whole process feel fun and doable. On the actual day, she was a total rockstar—handling everything behind the scenes so we could just enjoy ourselves and be present. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to her, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better planner (or person!) to have on our side. Kirin went above and beyond in every way, and we’re so grateful for everything she did. If you're thinking about working with her, do it. You’ll be so glad you did.

    Kirin went above and beyond as our wedding coordinator. Our wedding was originally supposed to be the weekend of Hurricane Helene, and even without phone service or power, Kirin was able to make contact with us and our vendors through one of the few remaining wifi hotspots in the area, and coordinated rescheduling for the next year. On our actual wedding day, Kirin was vital in ensuring everything went smoothly. She is a great communicator and is so easy to work with, and the day was relaxed because we knew we could trust her with any details that came up. She set up all our tables before the event, moved florals for us during the event, and handled trash and boxing up our personal items post-event. Our wedding would literally not have been possible without Kirin. We were Kirin fans when we hired Black Orchid, now we’re Kirin stans. Would highly recommend Black Orchid (and Kirin) for any event!
