My name is Katie and I’m the owner of Lotus Events! I am a mother, hopeless romantic, and love all things outdoors. I specialize in rustic weddings, DIY brides, and theme-based weddings. I started planning fundraising events at a young age which led me to start non profits and serve as fundraising/event chairman for many organizations. After years of planning fundraisers and friends weddings, it was time to launch my business. I truly love what I do and hope you become part of my Lotus Family!
My previous management experience has prepared me for the unpredictability that can come with weddings. I stay calm no matter the situation, always have a back up plan, can talk to anyone no matter their background, can read a room to decide when we need to change gears and most importantly I ensure you’re stress free, having fun and feeling all the love.

| Description | Full planning includes creation of collaboration board, design, assistance with vendor selection and access to preferred vendors, budget creation and monitoring, attend all vendor meetings, website creation and management, RSVP management, and all items under Wedding Management Package. | Our wedding management services include full weekend. We can start with you as early as you prefer. Timeline creation, contract review, venue walkthroughs, no limitation on phone calls/texts/emails. We will lead rehearsal and manage wedding day by being one of first there and last to leave. Lead planner and 1-2 assistants included with our wedding management package. |

Katie and her team were amazing!!!! I had a small intimate wedding and contracted lotus events for day of coordinating. I am so thankful for this as we all know I would have been running the wedding and not enjoying it like I should be. With Lotus I had no worries! I could relax and had the best day ever. Lotus Events, LLC was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. Katie and her team are kind, supportive, and believe in the value of their hard work. She made us feel understood throughout the entire planning process. She was always easy to reach and quick to communicate and flexible when we decided to change a schedule or detail. We loved using her organization materials. Her expertise is woven throughout the planning document she shared and it was a great template to guide use through the big wedding to-dos like building a guest list, following a timeline, and determine the seating chart. Most of all, she consistently went above and beyond, stepping in wherever needed and offering support in ways we didn’t even know we would need. We truly felt cared for, and our day ran smoothly because of her dedication. She is an exceptional wedding coordinator and an even more exceptional human being. We loved our experience with this company and have already recommended them to several friends!

As a type-A bride, Katie's kindness and loving approach helped take the stress off of me so I could be fully present on my wedding day. Katie is not just a wedding planner; she is an incredible human who brings warmth and love with her into every event. In fact, Katie was even attacked by a swarm of bees between our ceremony and reception, and she still managed to run the event seamlessly with grace and poise. She stayed late to pack all of our decor seamlessly. Katie will tackle each challenge on your day and let nothing stop you from having the wedding of your dreams.
