MK Your Dream Day began when founder and CEO, Mary Kate, was asked to be an extra set of hands at her co-worker's wedding. Having had a strong passion for events, she jumped at the opportunity and coordinated her first wedding in August 2019. Her love for wedding planning has only continued to grow over the years, helping dozens of brides have the wedding they have always dreamed of while growing a team of wedding professionals to help her do so.

This package is the perfect “in-between” of our full-service planning package and our event management package. This option has flexibility on what can be included. Hiring a day of coordinator was something I didn't consider until later in the planning process. Anytime I spoke to someone about our upcoming wedding (men included!), they all seemed to say the same thing "make sure you have a good wedding planner or day of coordinator". I realized just how important this was to ensuring our day went off as planned. Lucky for me, Mary Kate and her team were there to help. From the very beginning they were communicative and helpful. They asked all the right questions and took as much off of my plate as possible. We were lucky enough to work with Elaina, she stepped in to build out our timeline and handle communication with all vendors as we got closer to our wedding day (such a relief for me). Our actual wedding day was completely stress free. Elaina ensured that we were on schedule and that all of our vendors were taken care of. If any thing went wrong its news to me! She was calm cool and collected the entire day and was even there to save the day when it came to moving my veil! Being able to just enjoy the day was such a luxury. Our wedding day exceeded expectations in every way possible. I truly don't think this would have been the case without Elaina and the MK Your Dream Day team. Stop hesitating, hire the wedding planner or coordinator (specifically this one!!!). It will be the best money you spend.

It’s evident from the first meeting that Mary Kate and her team care deeply about making each wedding special. She helped us plan the wedding of our dreams while staying within budget – one of our biggest stressors coming into wedding planning. The team answered every question we threw at them and did a great job interfacing between us and the other vendors. The day itself was beautiful, and we’re grateful for the part Mary Kate, Samantha, Rachel, and Pascal had in making it all happen!

Hiring MK Your Dream Day was, without question, the best investment we made for our wedding. From our very first meeting 15 months out, MK Morrissey and her team made us feel supported, heard, and genuinely excited about the planning process. MK is incredibly professional, warm, and grounded, and she set the tone for what turned out to be a completely seamless and (almost) stress-free experience. One of the biggest highlights of working with them was how easy and natural communication was throughout the entire planning process. Whether it was jumping on a call, trading emails, or collaborating on ideas, everything felt effortless. The team was always responsive, thoughtful, and truly listened to what was important for our wedding day. While they represent the epitome of professionalism in the industry, it never felt transactional, but like we were working with friends who cared deeply about making our day perfect. As our big day approached, Samantha took over as our day-of coordinator, and she was absolutely incredible. She was calm, completely organized, and handled every little detail with confidence and precision. At our rehearsal, even our wedding party couldn’t stop commenting on how impressive and in control she was—calling her a total “boss”. It was so clear that everything was under control and that gave us the freedom to truly relax and enjoy our day. We also had the pleasure of working with Kelly during the design phase and she was such a joy to collaborate with. She helped bring our vision to life in the most beautiful way and was also on-site on the day of to ensure everything was set up just as we had discussed. Knowing she was there gave us so much peace of mind! The entire MK Your Dream Day team was a dream to work with from start to finish. They made what could have been a stressful experience feel joyful, easy, and genuinely fun. If you’re looking for planners who are not only talented and professional but also kind, approachable, and a true pleasure to be around, this is the team you want by your side. We can’t thank MK enough for making our wedding day a flawless and unforgettable experience! From the moment we started working with her, she helped us make some really big decisions for our wedding and guided us to consider all the important factors that we were not even thinking about. We had difficult schedules to accommodate for check-in calls between my mom being out of state and my full time work schedule but she was always accommodating and flexible to make it work. She took care of every detail, big and small, coordinating all of our vendors seamlessly. MK had worked with most of our vendors before so she had great relationships with our team so we never had to worry or think twice about anything on the big day! MK truly went above and beyond in every way possible. She started the process to manage our day of timeline months in advance and helped prepare us to make the most of our time and the day flowed so smoothly because of this careful planning and attention to detail. MK is organized, professional, and truly has a talent for bringing everything together in the most beautiful way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful for all their hard work. Highly recommend!
