Soraya has planned weddings rooted in diverse cultures such as: Africa, North Africa, Middle East, Asia, (personal information protected by Zola), South America and Europe. Raised in a multicultural, multi-faith home, founder Soraya Belgacem developed a deep understanding and appreciation for different traditions from an early age. Soraya also provides multicultural catering which enables couples to bring together all elements of their wedding. She specializes in working with couples from two different backgrounds, helping them create a wedding that beautifully blends their cultures while gracefully navigating both the challenges and the unique beauty of a fusion celebration.

    Soraya is truly one of a kind. Hiring her was, hands down, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From day one, she brought an incredible level of care, thoughtfulness, and dedication that made us feel completely supported throughout the entire process. She is extremely detail-oriented, an amazing communicator, and somehow always available when you need her most. She is deeply respected in the wedding community, has strong relationships with so many vendors, and knows exactly how to get things done without ever making you feel stressed or overwhelmed. My wife and I are based out of California which made wedding planning especially challenging for us. We didn’t have access to vendors, venues, or local recommendations, and it could have easily felt overwhelming. Soraya immediately stepped in, guided us through every decision, and quickly connected us with the right vendors who truly matched our vision. She made a complicated situation feel manageable. She worked incredibly well with our parents, always balancing kindness with firmness when needed. She knew when to push back, when to protect our time and priorities, and when to calmly steer conversations back on track. Throughout it all, she had this steady, calming presence and a clear bias for action—you always felt like things were moving forward and under control. What meant the most to us was how genuinely invested she was. Soraya is organized, thoughtful, and leads with so much heart. Whenever I called her, she picked up right away or called me back shortly after. She kept us grounded, on schedule, and focused during every planning call, even when emotions or stress ran high. Kiran and I absolutely loved working with Soraya. She didn’t just help us plan a wedding—she truly cared about us as people. By the end of it all, she felt like family. If you’re considering hiring Soraya, do it. She is exceptional at what she does, and we are so grateful to now call her a close friend

    From the moment I met Soraya at my parents’ house, I knew I wanted to move forward with her as our wedding planner! She is very professional, warm, and goes out of her way to understand what the family and couple wants from their special day/wedding weekend. We spent a year planning our wedding with Soraya and interacted with her almost daily! She is very communicative and responsive. We never felt in the dark about anything that she took charge of. She communicated every step and update in a timely manner and documented everything for us which was extremely helpful! We put full our full trust in Soraya when it came time to executing contracts, managing our budget, following up with vendors, ordering signage and certain items from abroad for us, etc. She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend very special and memorable. We highly recommend Soraya as your wedding planner!

    As the year draws to a close, we are looking back with gratitude to so many who made this year special for us. One person who stands at the top is Soraya Belgacem (Soraya Events), our wedding planner for our son’s wedding. Our son got married in 2025 (and we now have a most wonderful daughter-in-law!). It was a wedding of two different cultures and faiths, so two separate ceremonies were arranged. We undertook the primary responsibility for organizing the Indian ceremony in Massachusetts. Soraya was the wedding planner for this ceremony. Soraya was extremely professional in all her dealings. She was extremely hard-working and kept the entire planning process moving on time over the ten months leading up to the wedding. She really cared about making the ceremony truly special and memorable for the couple. She involved our son and our daughter-in-law in every important decision. Both of us and indeed our son and daughter-in-law are extremely pleased with her services. We could not have pulled off this successful event without her. Soraya was indispensable to us. From the very first email that we sent to Soraya inquiring about her services she was wonderful to communicate with. We had numerous meetings with her throughout the planning process working on all the important details. On every occasion, we felt that she had gone above and beyond to meet our needs to our fullest satisfaction. She is a very positive person and truly delightful to work with. At every step we found her extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we had full confidence in her decisions. She was also extremely prompt with her responses. We kept in touch regularly over email, phone, Zoom as well as text messaging. She was always there for us. Some of the aspects that stood out for us were: • From the very beginning Soraya totally understood our vision for what would constitute a successful wedding for us. We found that she is an excellent listener and quickly able to grasp the essence of what we are looking for. • She has a lot of experience and a very good working relation with a lot of vendors. She also has the expertise and resources to pivot quickly should a problem arise with a vendor for an unforeseen reason. We faced a problem in one case, and she handled the situation with great expertise. We never felt that any situation was out of control. • She has a great sense of esthetics and was very closely involved with us and the decorators and lighting experts regarding every aspect of the décor. She was creative and innovative with her ideas and very resourceful. She was passionate about making everything turn out excellent. • For the day of the event, Soraya made sure that everything went precisely and on schedule. This was greatly appreciated by our guests. Over the last five months since the wedding, we have heard from so many of our guests, and they all said that their experience was wonderful and memorable. Specifically, they said that the wedding was extremely well organized in all respects and that thoughtful attention had been paid to all details. Truly speaking, this would just not have been possible without Soraya’s incredible contribution. We are extremely satisfied and grateful to Soraya for her dedicated work for the wedding. The wedding was really a success in terms of meeting and exceeding our own expectations. We highly recommend Soraya to any couple looking for an extraordinary event.

    We are so grateful to have had Soraya as an event planner for our baby shower and reception! She’s super resourceful and creative, suggesting ideas we hadn’t thought of to save costs or to make the event smoother and is also happy to defer to our decisions when she presented us with options. She is so kind, culturally sensitive, patient and super responsive via text. She has great relationships with vendors of all price ranges and was able to plan a stellar baby shower and reception of 250 people for us in 3 months!
