A historic barn offering an exclusive weekend stay

This venue offers an uninterrupted, exclusive wedding weekend experience on a stunning farm setting. The centerpiece is the warmth of the climate-controlled barn, which provides a thoughtful and adaptable layout for your reception. Couples can choose from several breathtaking spots for their ceremony, including exchanging vows beneath the canopy of a historic 200-year-old oak tree or in front of the picturesque pond. The property also features two spacious, light-filled bridal suites equipped with full kitchens, offering ample room for the entire wedding party to relax and prepare in comfort.

    The Barn at Edgewood helped us curate the most amazing wedding far beyond any of our expectations. They were helpful throughout the planning process by responding to our questions promptly and thoroughly. Julie and Scott worked with us on the details that we had always dreamed of for our wedding, and we are so thankful. They thoughtfully planned and worked with all of our vendors to ensure a smooth and seamless day. We will forever be grateful for them and would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the Charlottesville or Stanardsville area.

    Julie, Scott, and their team made our wedding day perfect. From the first site visit and throughout the planning process, they were amazing communicators. The venue has gorgeous outdoor spaces for the ceremony and cocktail reception. The indoor space is flexible for a reception with a dance floor. There are chairs for both the ceremony and reception as well as tables. We chose to have a June wedding and when the temps entered the upper 90s, we were grateful for the A/C reception space. Even better, there are two suites that the wedding party can use to make for a seamless process getting ready. We enjoyed our experience so very much. Lastly, the bathrooms there were also excellent and let’s be real, that’s a crucial component for any good party.
