Liberty House, located inside historic Liberty State Park, offers two distinctly unique event spaces complete with private entrances, separate cocktail rooms, ceremony spaces, lush gardens, and outdoor patio spaces. The Grand Ballroom at Liberty House Boasting 35’ ceilings, exposed woodwork, finished metal, and soft, neutral colors, the Grand Ballroom offers the blank canvas of your dreams. Floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views, and wrap-around terrace provide a refreshing escape for your guests.

Situated on the main floor of Liberty House, our Liberty Room has incredible views of the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty and includes a spacious dining room directly next to the pavilion, in which your guests can dance and mingle. From the Liberty Room, access our formal gardens and the outdoor patio, complete with seductive fire pits and posh lounge areas. The Liberty Room is highly customizable and offers a virtually endless list of options and layouts.

The entire second floor of Liberty House features floor-to-ceiling windows, which give way to unobstructed, panoramic views of the NYC skyline. A wraparound outdoor terrace defines opulence, and space’s interior is appointed with high-end designer finishes. Guests also have private access to the Grand Ballroom garden, perfect for hosting a wedding ceremony, as well as our Grand Pavilion for your cocktail hour or indoor ceremony.

Exquisite Views & Even Better Professionals
Top Takeaway: We are so fortunate that we got to host our wedding at Liberty House – it was the first venue we looked at, and it might as well have been the last because nothing else held a candle to everything they offered. Prep Process: Liberty House was so accommodating to our every desire on every front. Working with Aurora was a total dream – she handled every request and question with a smile and can-do attitude. She collaborated with our wedding planner seamlessly and was enthusiastically supportive of all of our ideas. Creative & Execution: On our actual wedding day, Aurora was unflappable as she managed a million moving parts and minor complications. When we arrived at the venue, we’d experienced rain on and off throughout the day; my father asked if we were still going to be outdoors for the ceremony, and she replied, “Of course we are!” The Liberty House team knows how to read the weather and the timeline to ensure we would hit our marks. A team of staffers were on the ceremony lawn thirty minutes before guests arrived, wiping seats down. This was just one small moment of preparedness and attention to detail that made sure the day was Investment & Value: In the moments before our ceremony, strong wind gusts nearly toppled our chuppah. Aurora and her entire team responded instantaneously – guests later said that no sooner had the chuppah started to tilt than were maintenance staff running in to stabilize it. You want a team who has done a million weddings and is prepared for any combination of circumstances – Liberty House has the most experienced team you can imagine. We especially want to shout out our bridal attendant, Jackie, who was at the ready for any tiny thing – grabbing more food and water; bustling my dress; locating spray-on deodorant for a mid-reception reset. Whatever we needed, she was ready to respond, and she was emblematic of the entire staff. Our guests were overwhelmingly positive about Liberty House’s food. Many friends and family were convinced that cocktail hour was dinner itself – the selections were so plentiful and varied, it could’ve been the main meal. And where wedding entrees often fail, we universally received praise for all three of the dishes, vegans included! Liberty House undoubtedly benefits from their onsite restaurant and commitment to culinary excellence. Aurora and Liberty House were also extremely accommodating in our decision to bring in alcohol from an external vendor – the bartenders were communicative in exactly how many cases of beer and wine we needed and served everything without issue. When you book with Liberty House, you are booking with an extremely experienced, accommodating, friendly, and supportive team who know how to hit their marks perfectly, which leaves more room for creativity and personalization atop a smooth-running machine. Our Reasoning: Among many reasons, we chose Liberty House because the rain alternative for the ceremony is equal to the outdoor ceremony space (a small thing that ensured we would be happy either way!). We were ultimately & happily married on the lawn, and we were thrilled by how much our guests enjoyed the terrace over the ballroom with the glorious views of Manhattan. Every aspect – the staff, the food, the views, the accommodations, the generosity of spirit – proved that we chose well.

We had our wedding at Liberty House, and to say it was perfect would be an understatement. From start to finish, the experience was beyond anything we could have imagined — even with a last-minute weather shift that could’ve thrown everything off. It rained on our wedding day, which meant our outdoor ceremony had to be moved. The Liberty House team transitioned the ceremony into the reception room so quickly and beautifully that it felt like it had been the plan all along. It was seamless, elegant, and still carried all the magic we had dreamed of. Danielle Villa was our planner and honestly, we can’t say enough about her. She was incredible — professional, calming, and truly dedicated to making our day unforgettable. She made herself available on weekends, late nights, and any time we needed a call or check-in. We trusted her completely with one of the most important days of our lives, and she outdid herself in every way possible. Danielle didn’t just help us plan a wedding — she ran the show with grace and precision. Gabby, our day-of assistant, was also a total rockstar. My partner and I didn’t even have a chance to think about a drink or a bite to eat — she made sure we were always taken care of, without us even realizing how much she was doing behind the scenes. Every little detail, every moment, Gabby was right there, keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring we were comfortable and stress-free. The staff overall was phenomenal — warm, attentive, and professional. The view was absolutely insane (you just can’t beat that NYC skyline backdrop), and the food… wow. Every bite was incredible, and our guests are still raving about it. We genuinely can’t thank Liberty House enough for making our wedding the most beautiful, stress-free, and special day of our lives. If you’re considering having your wedding there — do it. You will be in the absolute best hands.

We are coming up on our one-year anniversary and we are still beyond happy with our decision to have had our wedding at the Liberty House in July 2024. Words do not suffice to express how incredible it was working with Danielle. From the very beginning she was nothing but warm, attentive, and never said a single "no" to fulfilling all of our dreams and expectations. We feel so blessed to have had her help in orchestrating what was a magical day. She also provided suggestions for vendors which took off loads of stress from the wedding planning process. She was always quick in her communication and ready to assist in every step of the process. The service, the food, and the environment at the Liberty House were nothing short of perfect. All of our guests had nothing but praises to sing and continue to mention that our wedding was the most beautiful they had ever been to with more food at a wedding than they had ever seen. One of our guests thought our cocktail hour was the dinner! And nothing beat the incredible NYC skyline in the background and the beautifully serene garden space for our outdoor ceremony. We loved everything about our wedding at the Liberty House and cannot recommend it enough to others. Thank you Danielle and all Liberty House staff for an unforgettable day!
