Meridian Banquets is Chicagoland’s destination for wedding receptions, corporate gatherings, birthday parties, shower luncheons, and more. With 20,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space, our venue can host intimate receptions to large galas. Our elegant ballrooms feature dramatic high ceilings, granite dance floors, shimmering chandeliers to serve as the ideal backdrop for your dream wedding. Our experienced staff can assist in the planning of your event from color scheme, to menu selection, to floor plan design. Meridian Banquets was honestly the only venue my fiance and I looked at in person and we went with them right away! It has been very easy to work with them. Something I loved about Meridian is that they have almost everything extra that you may need or havent thought about. They have food on site so you don't need to find someone to cater, they have a bar in each room so it is private for your event only, they have all possible decor (such as photobooth, uplighting, centerpieces, cake cutters, small extras like easels and table numbers) you might want so you don't need to supply your own if you don't want to. The food was phenomenal also! They have a big menu to choose from and when we did our tasting, everything we picked was so so so delicious. Even our guests at our wedding said the food was amazing! If you are vegan, however, they have very limited options for food so keep that in mind. We only had a couple of vegan guests at our wedding but they said the food they got was amazing as well (I believe it was portabella mushrooms with veggies). Something to note as well is that Meridian Banquets has 4 different banquet halls each various sizes to accompany different amounts of people. I was worried initially because I thought we would be able to hear other parties through the walls. My fiance and I found out that a long time ago, Meridian Banquets used to be an old movie theater so all the walls are sound-proof. That proved to be true because the day of our wedding the room next to ours had a very loud live band but we couldn't hear it at all in our room! So in case you are worried about that like I was, it is definitely not something to concern yourself with because the sound-proofing is perfect. We worked with Joyce, Bob, and Tina throughout the whole planning process and each one of them have been very helpful, kind, and patient. I would definitely recommend Meridian Banquets to anyone looking for a banquet hall. 10/10

Meridian made our reception so special! It was stress-free from the start. The room was exquisite, the sweet tables were perfect, and the food was delicious. Our guest even stated that it was the “best wedding food that they’ve ever had”. The whole night was magical.

Meridian Banquets came through for us in a pinch when our original venue canceled six months out from our May wedding. Bob and Tina were absolute gems to work with, they helped us maintain the vision we had, while also providing even more special touches we didn't even think about. The space is absolutely GORGEOUS! Everyone who attended our wedding swears we spent a fortune, but that's the thing, our space, 2 entree meal, wedding cake (included with our package), open bar and sweet table was very affordable! I am referring everyone I know to Meridian, and will use them again for any future events.

Meridian Banquets was a mixed bag for our wedding. The communication from their team was swift, which we appreciated, but the quality of the venue and catering did not quite match the premium prices they charge. The space itself was beautifully decorated, with elegant decor. However, the food, while tasty, was not exceptional given the high costs. Overall, Meridian Banquets provided an adequate experience, but we felt the value did not fully live up to their premium pricing.
