Primrose Cottage, a quaint name that is seemingly deceptive, has enchanted visitors with its presence in charming, historic Roswell since 1839. Roswell King lovingly built the home for his daughter. The wedding venue itself is large in size, but offers a very intimate setting, perfect for your spring or summer wedding. Nestled on the edge of a stately front lawn, the three-story home and ballroom are hidden from outside view. Primrose Cottage possesses secret enchanting gardens, luring its guests to a quest of discovery.

Fantastic Wedding Experience
I cannot say enough good things about my October 2025 wedding at Primrose Cottage. Everyone I worked with throughout the planning process, from the sales team to the in-house florals and decor team at Divine Events, the venue directors and coordinators, and the day-of coordinator, was professional, kind, and just overall so enjoyable to work with. They were adaptable when I switched from a seated to a buffet-style dinner and went out of their way to make sure I was getting the most out of my budget. On the day of the wedding, they made sure to make sure the event ran on time and met/exceeded my and my fiancé's expectations. They made sure I always had a drink in my hand and any hiccups were handled without my knowledge. The decor and the grounds were beautiful and the food was out of this world delicious (you HAVE to get the manchego mac and cheese). I would highly recommend Primrose Cottage to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Roswell/metro Atlanta area!

We had a fantastic experience at Primrose- everything being managed in house made wedding planning a breeze and limited the number of meetings that were needed to make our day run smoothly. The standard package, however, felt a bit short (6:30 ceremony to 10:30 exit) but options available to add more time. Overall great experience at a beautiful venue!

Our standard package for contract times is 5 hours, which is fairly standard industry wide, but we always want our couples to feel that they have enough time to enjoy their big day! Our wedding at Primrose Cottage was a dream come true! Shannon, Jessica, and Channing were amazing—professional, warm, and attentive, making the day perfect. The food and design were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The only challenge was with one wedding director, Inese, who was rude and made rehearsal stressful. After I shared concerns, the team quickly stepped up, and Channing made our wedding day calm and flawless.
