About this venue
Room With A View at Marathon Village, is a gorgeous venue located in downtown Nashville. Our event space is located in a 114-year-old factory with a historic Marathon Car Museum in the main lobby. Its antique oak stairs, original flooring, exposed brick walls, high ceilings, & large windows overlooking the downtown skyline is the most romantic backdrop for your wedding! On the 3rd floor of what used to be the administrative building of Marathon Motorworks, Its capacity is approximately 200 standing, 150 guests seated reception style. In house we are fully equipped with an elevator, an A/V system, round tables, folding tables, cocktail tables, & chairs. In the space you also have access to our catering kitchen and bar. We also provide two Ready Rooms, which comfortably accommodates four to five people. It has seating, a full-size mirror, counter space, a closet, and a large wall-mounted makeup mirror. Room With A View has an open vendor policy, so your special day 100% reflects you.

Amazing View!
Thank you for your interest in Marathon Village. Our Event Space is located in a 106 year old factory. It has an antique oak staircase leading up to the third floor. The space itself has exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows with a view of the Nashville's downtown skyline. We don't have a list preferred vendors, so the catering is 100% your choice. There is a stereo system hooked up with 1/8" cable in the room where a DJ can plug a computer or you can bring in your own equipment.

Included in this room:
We require a liability insurance policy for up to $1,000,000 for the day of the event. We also rent out tables and chairs. We have a Ready Room that is an included. This ready room fits up to 4 - 5 people comfortably. It has seating, a full size body mirror, counter space, closet, large wall mounted makeup mirror and individual make up mirrors. If you would like to add this to your contract please request it on your visit.

Dream Venue!!
Room With a View is such an incredible venue— my (now) husband and I knew as soon as we did the tour it would be the perfect spot for our wedding, and we weren’t wrong! The exposed brick walls and wood floors are beautiful, and as the name suggests, there are some gorgeous views through the large windows. It is stunning! The venue is also conveniently located close to downtown and The Gulch (a quick Uber ride, or walkable if you want), but without the hustle and bustle since it is nestled in the charm of Marathon Village. Our photographer found some perfect photo spots (both inside and outside) that made for some truly beautiful and unique photos. We had 100 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the evening and have a great party on the dance floor! One of our favorite things about RWAV was the convenience of having everything in the same space and not having to switch venues from ceremony to reception, or set up different areas for the ceremony, catering, bar, etc. There was enough room for us to stage everything ahead of time so flipping the room from ceremony to reception was quick and easy. The venue also has two “get ready” areas, which simplified the day so much and made for easy coordination of the groom/groomsmen and bride/bridesmaids on the wedding day. Emily was also fantastic to work with, and was super accommodating since we were planning a destination wedding from across the country. Communication was quick and easy, she was incredibly helpful answering questions, and overall was a huge help in making sure things went smoothly! Cannot recommend this venue enough!!
Magical January Wedding!
From the moment we booked Room with a View, the staff was incredibly flexible, accommodating, and supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself has so much character and the view of the city skyline is truly breathtaking. We were able to get great value for the space, and our guests were in awe of the unique and memorable setting. Room with a View helped create memories that will last a lifetime.
Gorgeous Venue!
This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We were going for more of a rustic/industrial vibe and this was the perfect match. The 3rd floor venue was easily accessible for everyone, including our handicapable guests. We did have a few occurrences where there was a little bit of a communication error, but their team was quick to help us resolve all questions. I would highly recommend this venue!
Wedding Planner and Coordinator
We LOVE working at the Room with and View. Victoria is truly a breath of fresh air and makes the planning process so smooth. If you are in Nashville and your are looking for a view and exposed brick, I would select a Room with a View.
