About this venue
Our special event venue was designed to evoke an elegant, sophisticated, refined & historic appeal. This entirely-renovated, historic event space was designed with a Motor City ambiance and classic automobile-era aesthetic. The Dealership features amenities ideal for wedding receptions and any other special event you are planning. Amenities include an open kitchen, convenient electrical for lighting, audio, etc., easy-access parking and entry, an outdoor patio for weather-permitting use, and so much more.

Among our many amenities are beautiful bistro lights, the sophistication of open-air allure with overhead doors leading to a patio at the rear entrance, a designated food preparation space equipped with refrigeration, and strategically-placed power outlets for innovative lighting arrangements. The Dealership Event Venue is on historic Downtown Oxford’s main thoroughfare, Washington Street. Our back patio opens onto the downtown’s newly-upgraded community space, the Village Patio.

Needs better management
The Dealership was a major disappointment as our wedding venue. From the beginning, their communication was severely lacking - both internally and in their interactions with us as clients. On the day of our wedding, we experienced numerous issues that negatively impacted our special day. They let us into the venue late, there were an improper number of chairs at the tables, the linens were wrinkled, and they had a random greenery wall that we were told we could not rent despite it being part of the space. To make matters worse, there was a smog all over the walls leaving a groomsmen suit jacket damaged. Their staff showed up mid-reception flustered that we were using the groom's suit that was supposed to be furnished, and they demanded an additional 500 payment just 2 hours before our rehearsal dinner (which was supposed to be automatically invoiced a week prior). The owner even showed up before our rental time was completed and started packing up. While the space itself is amazing, the overall quality of service and value was extremely poor. We would not recommend The Dealership to any couple planning their wedding.
Great Experience with The Dealership
I recently had my event at The Dealership, and not only was the staff super nice, but they were super helpful. They were able to answer all my questions, provide me with vendor recommendations, and even stopped in the day of to see if I needed anything. I loved how we could bring in our own things to help keep the cost down, because in this economy, everyone's budget is tight.
Fantastic New Industrial Venue
I recently attended an event at The Dealership Event Venue in Oxford, MI, and it was fantastic. The venue is modern and elegant, with a spacious layout and excellent lighting with an industrial rustic feel. The staff were exceptional—attentive, professional, and very helpful. They ensured everything ran smoothly and catered to our every need. Parking was ample and convenient, which is a huge plus. The venue's accessibility made it easy for guests traveling from various locations. Overall, the Dealership Event Venue provided an outstanding experience. I highly recommend it for any event or special occasion.
Highly recommend!
The Dealership is everything my fiancé and I were looking for in a wedding venue. The aesthetic is perfect and we loved that it is a blank slate and that we can bring in our own food and DJ. The owner and staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. We also learned that we could rent tables, chairs and linens with them which helped us check something else off of our list. Highly recommend!
