About this venue

quiet + quaint, customize-able, secluded + connected and most importantly, a Legacy in itself. Our venue offers public access to the family farm of your wildest dreams. Scenery, options, space, adventure, comfort, grace...you name it. Located just outside Charlotte, NC in the north east corner of Union County. Inspired by out late leader of the family, Gregory Moore - We vow to offer a place he would be proud of. One that cultivates family and thrives off Legacy. We would do anything in this world to have him here with us still, but we know for sure he has held our hand through this whole journey. What great things ever came from our comfort zone, right?

A modern touch to a family farm

This space features a gorgeous 2400 sq foot outdoor pavilion. The wood from this structure was milled from trees culivated from our property making it so much more special. This space is connected to a 3000 sq foot brick paver area perfect for any event and also overlooks our 1.5 acre pond.

    OH MY GOODNESS!! If I could give the venue 6 stars I would. My husband and I were originally nervous to look at venues because we wanted to plan our wedding quickly. We were worried we wouldn’t find one we liked. The Legacy at Gregory Downs was the first venue we attended and it might as well have been our only one because as soon as we met Caitlyn and looked around we knew. Caitlyn is a dream to work with, very kind and will make the place feel like home. The weather was gorgeous but it rained and we even went out under the cover with our party and danced under the stars for a song. Could not say enough good things 10/10!!

    The Legacy at Gregory Downs was an absolute dream to work with for our client's wedding. Their communication style was fast, kind, professional, approachable, and refreshing - they truly advocated for the couple and handled all transitions seamlessly on the wedding day.     When we toured at the Legacy at Gregory Downs, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. The space is so versatile and capable of becoming the perfect venue for whatever you envision. Caitlyn was so helpful throughout our planning process, always just one text or email away! They thought of everything from the perfect getting ready suites to spraying the field to ensure no bugs were around. On the day of, they were attentive and ready to help. Huge thank you to this team!

    I cannot say enough about Caitlyn and her amazing staff! When hurricane Helene destroyed our venue in the mountains, she reached out and told me they could make it happen and assured us it would still be beautiful. The venue alone is stunning! All of the small details you don't think, about they have! Caitlyn hit the ground running as soon as we said yes! She works with the most kind hearted vendors and they stepped in to plan a meal and drinks for our guests. The kind of service and love that they pour into their venue is seen in everything they do. Caitlyn and her team helped with everything from setting up table decor, setting up the food and drink and even held my train as I walked down to the isle. Peep the picture. :) I could only imagine the kinds of weddings that happen at this venue with more time to plan! If you are looking for a full experience wedding that will leave you feeling like you became part of their family this is it! I honestly can't think them enough for how much they came through for us and made a difficult situation the greatest blessing. Pick Legacy at Gregory Downs as your venue and you won't regret it!.
