About this venue

Welcome to the Rumely Tractor Historic Event Space located in Kansas City’s 12th Street Bridge district of the Historic West Bottoms. Built in the 1880s, this building was once operated by the Advance-Rumely Thresher Company, from which the building has retained its unique name. The Rumely Tractor Historic Event Space is the product of two years of extensive restoration, during which time no expense was spared to preserve the history and authenticity of its landmark site. The result is a seamless combination of historic architecture with modern convenience and enduring elegance.

    As a wedding vendor who has seen it all, I have to say that The Rumely Historic Event Space stands out as a truly unique and special venue. Their communication was always quick and solution-focused, which made planning our event a breeze. The quality of their work and the value they provide is unmatched - the vintage, historic feel of the space is simply original. For example, we were able to hand-deliver a high-end wedding dress to this location for one of our clients. I love that this venue offers something different from the typical wedding scene, and I know they've even hosted events for the KC Chiefs, which is an added bonus for sports fans. Overall, I highly recommend The Rumely Historic Event Space to any couple looking to make their wedding day truly one-of-a-kind.
