About this venue
Walden Country Club is an intimate venue just west of Annapolis with beautiful spaces. We specialize in elegant affairs with a classic touch. Our exceptional staff will assist with wedding planning, giving you the freedom to be present and enjoy the day with your loved ones. Say “I do” on the veranda, which overlooks the golf course and gives spectacular sunset views. The reception can take place in the banquet room overlooking the veranda, where you can sit down to a delicious feast, created from our many extensive menus. Walden Country Club is the recipient of several awards from Capital Style, including Readers’ Choice finalist for best catering and reception site. Come enjoy unparalleled hospitality as you begin the next chapter of your love story.

Simply beautiful
The team at Walden Country Club team lead by the Food & Beverage Director Ilene Murphy was a pleasure to work with throughout our wedding planning process. Their communication was prompt, effective, and incredibly helpful as we navigated all the details. The venue itself was immaculately clean and offered great value - it was easy to transform the space to fit our vision. They provided wonderful suggestions that really elevated our special day, and the food was absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend Walden Country Club to any couple looking for a stress-free, beautiful wedding venue.
Incredible Gem in Crofton
We used the Walden country club for my wedding ceremony this past October and I couldn’t recommend it more! I was looking for smaller venue for our religious ceremony and thought to look at Walden, as it was close to where my sister lived; it ended up in the perfect location. It comfortably accommodated our 80 or so guests. The space and golf course are beautiful and the food was incredible. We requested halal food and chose the Italian menu and the chef was able to accommodate us while creating delicious food - our guests raved about it. We were able to cater from Walden, while also bringing our own desserts. We used a combination of our decor and items their decorations and furniture. Ilene and her team are fantastic; she was incredibly easy to work with, honest, responsive, and fun to be around. My mom and I always looked forward to our meetings with her! I would gladly recommend Walden to anyone looking to have their wedding or host another event in a beautiful and convenient location in Anne Arundel County!
Bridal Shower at Walden Clubhouse
Ilene and her team did a fantastic job! The set up was beautiful and the food was great! Everyone had a great time. Would recommend for future events.

Everything turn out nice. I was worried about the color clashing but the green on the wall was a great touch to my white and gold set up.
