Paperboys is a boutique wedding film/photo agency located on the ‘skirtz of Washington D.C. We started down this regal road in 2014 and we have the mountain of harddrives to prove it! We’re a collaborative team of filmmakers and photographers who live for making amazing things for the world’s most friggin’ amazing couples. When we started this business on a wing and a prayer, we quickly realized that working alone is not a ton of fun - some would say, it’s for the birds. So, we grew our team and that’s when things really started to come to life.

What makes us unique? Simple, it’s our dedication to the craft. Each of our team members are full-time staff, each with a heart to collaborate, to learn, and to produce the best work possible. It’s this spirit of collaboration and sharpening each other that has made our films and photo galleries better and better with each passing season. But even as our films evolve, each one still possesses that Paperboys spark, which inspired this whole endeavor - a passion for breathtaking cinematic imagery, and for storytelling that, hopefully, moves the soul. — We’re so excited you’re here —

We love every second of our wedding video! Production was done with such superior quality. Josh and team were also super easy and fun to work with before and on wedding day. In particular, Josh and team made sure to get the dream shot that we wanted, even though it means shooting in 90 degree heat! Josh and team really made our wedding a memory of our lifetime. Would strongly recommend!

We can’t say enough good things about the Paperboys team — they were one of the absolute best parts of our wedding planning experience and wedding weekend itself. From the very beginning — initial meetings, creative calls, engagement shoot, timeline planning — all the way through five events over three days, the entire team was incredible. Their professionalism, energy, creativity, and kindness consistently exceeded our expectations. Even before we officially started planning, I knew I wanted Paperboys as our photo and video team. Their work stands out for the way it captures joy, beauty, and emotion in the most authentic way. After our first call with Matt, we felt fully supported — he helped us build a package that fit our needs and budget, and made the entire process feel seamless. Our engagement shoot with John was relaxed and fun (despite us being camera-shy), and the vibe continued with Aiden, Isaac, and the rest of the team leading up to and during the wedding weekend. They didn’t just feel like vendors — they genuinely felt like part of the celebration. Taking portraits never felt like a chore; it felt like we were just hanging out with friends who happened to have amazing cameras and impeccable timing. So many of our guests commented on the team's energy, efficiency, and how fun they were to be around — and everyone is still raving about the same-day edit that played at the Reception. We worked with Paperboys and Johnny for both our engagement shoot and wedding photography and he made the entire experience better than we could have imagined! He captured our vision even better than we planned and made our wedding day an absolute blast. We felt comfortable, cool and like supermodels! We also had Molly on our wedding day and they made the perfect team. We can’t recommend them enough and we can’t wait to see our full album!!
