Urquhart Weddings
Hi, my name is Ian! At Urquhart Weddings, I create cinematic wedding films capturing the organic nature of a wedding day. From heartfelt moments to the little details you might not remember happening, my goal is to create a film that lets you relive the love, joy, and connection shared with your family and friends. I focus on showcasing the bond between two people in love, surrounded by their closest loved ones. What sets me apart as a wedding videographer is my unique blend of experience. With over 5 years as a touring photographer and videographer for internationally traveling artists and bands, I bring a creative, adaptive approach to filming wedding days. My background in Meteorology and love for weather (B.S., Plymouth State University 2015) fuels my appreciation for a good sunset shot (Sun Dogs are the best). Supported by a team who shares my vision, we work seamlessly to create impactful wedding films. Most importantly, a couple's happiness and satisfaction is my top priority. Egos always take a back seat.

Wedding Day
We couldn't be more thrilled to have chosen Ian for videography and photography for our wedding. Him and his team went above and beyond and couldn't be happier with all the footage and photos they captured. From the beginning of booking he was super communicative and was there at any moment to answer any questions we had through it all. He was also organized to have everything planned out before the day so we didn't have to worry about anything! They have so much creativity, guidance and professionalism that is unmatched. I would book them again with any other big life moments we have!
Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Videographer
We’re so glad we chose Ian for videography for our wedding! He was incredibly kind, creative, professional, and easy to work with—he made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. The videos are absolutely stunning. He has an amazing eye for detail and captured the emotion of the day so beautifully. One thing we really appreciated was how subtly and skillfully Ian worked—capturing every moment without ever feeling intrusive. He moved quietly through the day, never interrupting big moments or overly directing anything just for the sake of the video. Everything he captured felt genuine, and the final videos truly reflect the spirit of our day. On top of that, his communication was amazing. He was super responsive, organized, and had a quick turnaround time without ever compromising on quality. We can’t recommend Ian enough. He’s incredibly talented, a joy to work with, and delivers exceptional results. We’re so happy with how everything turned out and would absolutely work with him again!

My Fiancé and I hired Ian for our engagement photos and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Ian helped us find the perfect locations, he was incredible patient, and made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera. He got the photos back to us super fast and we absolutely loved them. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and recommend him to all who need a photographer. We will 100% be using him again in the future!
So much artistic talent!
Ian videoed our fall 2024 lakeside wedding in NH and we were very impressed with the experience working with him! Ian’s day-of communication was great & he showed up enthusiastic to film. Throughout the day, I could tell how much attention Ian was paying to the details and unique look our lakeside venue provided. After our ceremony, he captured guests at our cocktail party and made it back for our wedding party photos. I love seeing all of the happy, laughing faces while we were taking photos! Throughout the reception he always knew where to find the best vibes with his camera! Post-wedding, we’ve been thrilled with his editing and love our highlight reel!
