From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!”

By 10 PM, the lead investor instructed Connie to find an alternative location for the reception, which was scheduled for the following evening. Connie reached out to a nearby coffee shop/bar, explained the situation, and requested the on-duty manager to contact the owner to see if the reception could be held there. Shortly after, Connie received confirmation that the reception would take place at the new venue. She informed the investment group about the change in location and began reorganizing for the new space.
