Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

At Bittersweet Gardens, I feel so lucky to do what I love: growing beautiful flowers and turning them into stunning wedding designs that tell your love story. As a farmer-florist with over 25 years of experience, I’ve learned how to cultivate blooms that perfectly reflect the magic and emotion of each special day. It’s a true joy to grow these flowers from the ground up—quite literally! But what truly makes this work special is getting to meet so many wonderful couples. I started working with wood flowers in February of 2020. A friend of mine had recently gotten married, and seeing her bouquet in the trash stuck with me. I researched fresh vs silk flowers, fresh are stunning but expensive & have a fast expiration date. Silk flowers didn’t really satisfy the customization and realism that I desired. I stumbled across wood flowers, purchased a few & quickly realized that not only was I actually a little talented at what I was doing, but I absolutely LOVED doing it. I fell in love almost immediately. I want to express my love & passion for these wood flowers & I want brides to fall in love the same way I did.
