The Venue opened it's doors in May of 2017, and is located in one of the largest stand alone historical buildings in Bowling Green. This attractive, three story brick building is listed in the national registry of historic places and has a rich Bowling Green History dating back to 1914. The Venue is outfitted with original wood floors; heavy timber construction, and tall ceilings; some of the main features that make this building unique and one of a kind. Easy access to our almost 2,000 sf deck allows you to enjoy being outside with friends, weather permitting, but if not there is plenty of room for you and all of your guest indoors. Grab a cold drink from the pre-civil war bath tub built into the 32 foot wood-top bar. We have a spacious bridal suite with an attached bath and area for hair and makeup as well as a groom suite. Duck Pond Manor was originally known as the England Mansion. The mansion’s building process began in 1861(according to family stories). The house was finally completed Dec 27, 1867. This 5000 sq ft mansion was built using bricks fired in a kiln right in the farm. The original Apple House still stands behind the mansion.
