I was a late in life bride to my long time love, Ariston. Our wedding was the genesis of not only our marriage, but of this very business! A guest at the wedding was so impressed with the dinner we prepared for everyone, that he took us by the hand and walked us right into our destiny: Bailey Family Catering! Since that wonderful day, lots of hard work and learning has manifested in to many celebrations that we have been entrusted to cater! Weddings are my favorite because, just like everyone, I always think back on my own magical day and am in awe of where love can take us all!

I'm from Statesville, NC. I've been in the kitchen cooking since I was a kid. I grew up with a family of cooks. My grandmother was a head chef for 32 years at a mom and pops restaurant and cooking with her on the weekends when I visited her is where discovered my passion and real love for southern homestyle food. I enjoy creating new southern-style dishes with tons of flavor and a flair of love.

I’ve always believed that food is one of the most beautiful ways to bring people together. Gomez Salsa began in the small town of Brownsville, Texas where the best taco of my life was assembled by my abuelita (grandmother), Oralia Gomez. She also hand-chopped the most authentic salsa I’ve ever encountered, which my father made weekly for our family. From them, I learned to make salsa the way they did and began producing and selling Gomez Salsa around the Cincinnati area.
