While in the midst of successful careers in the corporate sector, we dreamed of branching out into a new business that interested us both. I think it’s hard in this day and age for a lot of people to stop and appreciate something that is so detailed and crafted by hand, to imagine that every stamen, every petal, every bud, every calyx, and every color is made individually and then combined together to make a sugar flower. Often hundreds of steps. Then each flower, each stem of leaves, is combined to make an entire sugar flower arrangement. One cake. Fluff Gourmet Cotton Candy was born in 2017 from a YouTube black hole. Little did I know that the series of videos about cotton candy would lead to a business that I love! I have been an artist my entire life, and Fluff has given me such a creative outlet.
