Since 1830, this church has been a foundation of this community as the first and oldest recorded church within the quaint beach town of St. Joseph, Michigan. Now, we are opening our venue up to the community for booking weddings! Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).

Hidden Vineyard is a working farm and vineyard with an elegant old barn that looks out over the rolling fields. There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. The old barn hosts lovely receptions and has a large covered deck that overlooks the vineyard.

We are a wedding venue surrounded by gorgeous country landscape, and conveniently located in Southwest Michigan. We can accommodate up to 250 guests and allow your vendors of choice. You get our venue from 11am-11pm on day of your event and an additional 4hrs for rehersal and early setup the day prior. We have onsite heated and cooled bathrooms and our completely renovated changing area.

Rental price includes day before event to set up, event day and day after to tear down. Tables and chairs for 130 provided. Access to museum property for ceremony and pictures. Camping available for guests at an extra cost. Wedding couple camp free. Not available during museum events which include second weekend in June, and from Labor Day to third weekend in September.

We welcome you to The Lincoln Event Center. Our venue was originally a one room schoolhouse built sometime in the 1860's as The Blackman School. Later, as rural schools consolidated, the school was expanded in 1938 into a two room schoolhouse.
