“Betsey and her team were absolute stars from day one. In a few words, professional, hardworking, and experts. I trusted everything they had to say. I went in to my bridal makeup and hair trial having an idea of what I wanted, but no idea on how best to execute. Betsey took the reigns and worked with my skin to achieve an exceptional look. Her team was incredible with hair too! Giving feedback has always been a little challenging for me, but calling Betsey up a few months before the wedding to discuss some changes to make was no issue. She came prepared with blotting papers, energy, and all the equipment necessary to tame the whole crew - even the ones that wanted last minute lashes and lipstick and hadn't paid yet. Luminous Beauty was on time, set up and tore down efficiently, and were strategic in their timeline for applying things like lipstick to achieve maximum impact for photos. Sitting in their chairs was like sitting in your own little bubble with them. You feel like you're the only person in the room, and they treat you with so much kindness and consideration. My mother and mother in law were not prepared with their look, but with some targeted questions by Luminous Beauty, they were looking like their best selves and were all extremely happy with the outcome. Luminous Beauty also showed us all how to insert and remove my veil which was a little tricker than expected! But we did it and it was an absolute success!. “You cannot go wrong with Primped! I had Lindsay for makeup and Allie for hair - they were wonderful! They did my hair, 4 bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and my mom’s hair. I cannot say enough about how great they both were! We were able to meet and do a trial before the wedding to discuss the look I wanted both in terms of makeup and hair, and they both ensured I was completely comfortable with the end results. All of the other women who had their hair and makeup done loved the end result. Allie and Lindsay were both excellent about ensuring everyone had as much or as little "extra" in their makeup or hair. For instance, my mother-in-law is not as comfortable with a lot of glamour, so Lindsay and Allie were great about ensuring her hair and makeup were more natural compared to some of the others. They are both also just such kind people who were a welcome addition to our morning of getting ready - everyone had rave reviews for them. Primped is a wonderful company with great people who work for them. My hair and makeup lasted all night and I loved the way I looked :) The cost is definitely worth it - you won't regret hiring them!”

“Ashley is a dream to work with! I'm so glad that our paths crossed and I got to work with her because I am not a person that is very makeup or hair experienced. Ashley was able to make me look my best when given very vague ideas such as just my wedding color scheme. I had no inspiration pictures, and no idea what I wanted to look like, just that I wanted to "look nice" which I'm sure would result in laughter by most makeup artists, but Ashley was a true professional, and walked me through some prior pictures and ideas to make me look my best for my special day. I loved my wedding trial appointment which helped work out all the details and make me feel super excited. However, when I decided I wanted to tweak my hairstyle without practice for the wedding day to be more down at my now husband's request Ashley was awesome and went with the flow without any additional practice and took it all in stride. On my wedding day I hired additional help to do my bridesmaids hair as I had a large bridal party that needed hair and makeup done in addition to myself, my mother and my now sisters in law. When one of the other stylists got sick the morning of Ashley remained super calm and professional and jumped in to help as much as possible even though we fell well behind our timeline. With the help of some high school friends in addition to Ashley taking more onto her plate we were able to get done just in the knick of time, but Ashley was instrumental in helping myself and my bridal party remain calm and get everything done just in time. I am a COVID-19 bride, (October 2020), but my day was perfectly imperfect and it COULD NOT have been pulled off without Ashley at my side. Brides, please put your trust in Ashley. Constructive Feedback The only area for improvement is email response time. Before booking, I sometimes waited anxiously for replies to my questions near the quote deadline. After booking and connecting with my day-of artists, communication was smooth and timely. Bridal Trial During my trial, KaSen accommodated time for two different hair styles because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I told Kong I’d never liked my makeup done by anyone else before, and she completely blew me away with her work. The trial was fun, and at the end I felt beautiful while still looking like myself. My hair and makeup after the trial lasted over 10 hours (and through a nap) with only minor touch-ups. My artists encouraged me to take notes after and welcomed feedback, which was very helpful on the big day. Wedding Day! On my wedding day, Kong and KaSen came prepared with my trial photos to reference. Kong told me I took really good notes, which made it easy for her to tweak my look exactly how I wanted. As my beauty prep was wrapping up and the ceremony drew near, KaSen noticed my nerves and took a moment to reassure me -- I really appreciated her kindness. My lipstick wore off quickly, which I expected & failed to prepare for -- I had planned to get the same lipstick Kong used for touchups throughout the day but failed to do (wish I would've! I recommend this tip for other brides). My eye makeup lasted through all the tears without any issues. Even though I knew my down hairstyle would eventually get knotty, I felt like Rapunzel & my half-up hair stayed full all day. I lost a few pieces of tinsel throughout the day but not a single bobby pin. Kong & KaSen's attention to detail and care made all the difference in making me feel confident & beautiful on my wedding day.
