If you’re looking for a beautiful, rustic and elegant venue. Then choose Sadie Lake Weddings. It’s reasonably priced and they choose to cherish that weddings are for love not for money. DeeDee and her husband are both very nice people and go above and beyond to celebrate your day. I chose Sadie Lake Weddings because I am the baby of 5. My eldest sister and her husband got married there 18 years ago when it was called something different and owned by the Browns. I had the most beautiful wedding. My husband hopes in 10 years that if they’re still around, we’ll have our vow renewal there. It’s kept clean and beautiful during spring, summer and fall. We’re from Kirkland and from all the places I looked at online, Sadie Lake Weddings in Arlington, WA was the one. I knew it as soon as I met DeeDee on the first and last venue we looked at. So if you’re interested in Sadie Lakes. Go for it. You won’t be disappointed and Congratulations!!!!

Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort was the perfect venue for our PNW wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was clear, consistent, and transparent. We mainly worked with Jena and Kevin throughout the planning process and they were both phenomenal. Answered all of our questions, always jumped on a call if we requested, and accommodated any special requests. Throughout the weekend, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring every detail was taken care of to make our special day go smoothly. The venue itself is an amazing space - the stunning mountain and river views provided a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We loved that all of our guests could comfortably stay on-site, and there were so many activities for them to enjoy, like the spa, pool, hiking trails, and organic garden. It's less than 10 minutes to downtown Leavenworth, next door to a horseback riding stable, and less than 3 minutes from a golf course. Sleeping Lady truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the PNW and wants to share it with their loved ones!!!

Located on the shores of Lake Washington, we combine modern amenities with the natural beauty of the PNW to offer guests an elevated experience. Awarded 2024 Best Wedding Venue by 425 Magazine, the hotel boasts unparallelled views and exceptional service. Once in a lifetime happens here!

My husband and I wed here in September of 2021. We had the beautiful backdrop of the lake during our ceremony and cocktail hour and then glided in to a wonderful event space for dinner and dancing. Katie took great care of us. She was in constant contact to make sure our wedding was a dream come true. We had the most wonderful sampling of delicious food. The bridal ‘get ready room’ was so spacious, a safe place to keep items during the wedding festivities, and great to gather before and after the ceremony with the wedding party. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Our couples suite was so spacious allowing us to host throughout our weekend. We are truly grateful for this amazing establishment and all those involved that made the most important day a perfect one. Also, there are great photo opportunities all around the hotel and in the park next door. Thank you, Katie and Southport Hyatt!

Lisa Blair at Hilton Bellevue was great with communicating with us in a timely manner with updates and answers to our questions. The venue was BEAUTIFUL. We rented the SkyView room and loved the chandeliers on the ceiling and enjoyed our ceremony and reception there. Lisa and her team did an amazing job with working with a last minute change in timing for when food gets served. Our ceremony was estimated to end within an hour but we ended about 15-20 minutes early. We also want to shout out Mel, Ron, and Earnie for serving us on our big day! You all did an amazing job! The venue itself is so unique - a quaint, beautiful property surrounded by lush greenery that made for a magical backdrop. Having our ceremony and reception there truly made our special day feel that much more special. We also want to recognize that as the couple, we had to organize and communicate with all vendors for the day to run smoothly. We were looking for this flexibility and freedom to hire the vendors we wanted. Robinswood House had great recommendations, but at the end of the day communication and execution relied on us and our vendors. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Robinswood House!

The spaces at Metropolist are fully customizable, making Metropolist an ideal location for a Seattle wedding, celebration, or company event. Venue considerations

  • Additional event staff required
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
We had our wedding at the Metropolist almost a week ago, and we had the most amazing time! When we had our initial tour a little over a year ago, Andi was responsive and made us feel comfortable with the options we had, and quickly shared inspiration and recommended vendors. From this initial meeting, we knew we wanted to book this venue space. Over the course of planning, she continued to remain responsive to any questions we had. Closer to the wedding, we found out our contact changed and it took some time to get a consistent contact person. Though we were initially worried that this would impact our event, everyone we had communicated with was just as responsive and helpful in our planning. In the end, we know that we made the right choice. The space was perfect for our wedding, as well was the equipment that we were able to utilize (tables, chairs, iron easel, uplights) helped complete our vision. Would definitely recommend Metropolist and their staff!

My partner and I didn’t visit many venues, but after visiting WithinSodo, we kept envisioning our wedding taking place in it, and we are so happy we went with it. The most important thing for us at our wedding was to keep people dancing, and this was the perfect venue for that. The space was flexible and fun, and 120 guests felt full, but definitively not overcrowded. We had our ceremony & cocktail hour on the roof, food and a live band in the main room, and an on-site after-party back on the roof. This helped break-up the event and keep things fresh, without guests having to drive between locations; a guest said it was like “3 parties in one”, which would be hard to replicate at another venue. Going back on the “Monkey Loft” roof and enjoying the summer breeze and the city lights was a great way to end our wedding, and a time where we were able to have pure fun after a hectic day. Many of our friends commented that it was such a cool and fun venue!!! Kate was so nice and kind, and generous with her time. We were able to book venue access multiple times prior to the event, to walk-through with vendors, and Kate helped us there each time. She also made us so hyped for our event and is such a lovely person, we felt like we were in great hands. Some hopefully helpful notes: We were very happy to have hired a lighting vendor (Crimzon Haze), which helped the main floor feel lively. We went with a mobile pizza oven buffet (Veraci) instead of catering, and guests loved it, while also simplifying some of our catering needs. Setting up the bar and the desserts in the mirror room added fun and flair. The venue does not have an elevator to the rooftop, which doesn’t make it accessible to guests with limited mobility. We mostly took care of our own sound needs. If you don’t hire sound professionals, I would recommend doing a sound-check before the event to make sure everything is working as expected. Overall, we were super happy with our experience, and WithinSodo was a great venue with great staff for a flexible, “build-it-yourself” wedding. They have a TON of experienced vendor recommendations and plenty of tips and support along the way.

This is a beautiful wedding venue that can host 100 guests comfortably in the ballroom inside. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace that opens up to extend the space and is perfect for summer nights and can be used as the ceremony area during the day. The service and event lead was top notch throughout the process. They also offer free parking for guests in their garage. The hotel itself is also new and makes for a great stay for your guests with Farine bakery just walking distance for brunch. The location is also ideal and in the center of Redmond downtown with walking to distance to just about everything. The Kimpton Vintage Seattle is one of my go-to hotels whenever I’m in the city. From the moment I arrive, I'm always greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. As part of the IHG brand, the staff consistently goes above and beyond—offering upgrades and special amenities whenever available. It’s that extra attention to detail that makes me feel truly taken care of every time I stay. Their on-site restaurant, Tulio, is a true Seattle gem and an absolute must-visit. The food was delicious and we got so many comments from our guests. We hosted the ceremony and reception here, and the ballroom is gorgeous. The up lighting was perfect, and staff was so professional. Our family and friends stayed at the W for a few nights, and they had nothing but great things to say. We hosted our wedding celebration at Parties on the Terrace this past September and it was the perfect venue for us! We wanted to find somewhere that we could leverage a more laid-back atmosphere and lean in on the natural features the venue provided. Patti was easy and great to work with on all the details. Very easy to get a hold of prior to and post the event. The inclusion of some items other venues would ask you to pay for made it affordable in the realm of venues (included shuttles from offsite parking, tables, chairs, cafe lights, etc) The venue was in bloom, and it felt like you were in a secret garden, couldn't have asked for a better day!

The venue is in a great local spot right on Lake Union, which has beautiful views for those visiting. We so appreciate Katie Melvin and the coordinating team's attention to our needs, the swift responses to constant emails, and the time in making sure our big day went well. We feel so lucky to have made such special memories at a venue/restaurant we're excited to point out and come back to in future years!

UW Botanic Gardens has two beautiful spaces to offer. The first, located at the Center for Urban Horticulture. The second, located at the Washington Park Arboretum. Both spaces offer ample outdoor space, surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Both spaces are not far from Downtown Seattle and the University of Washington.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Handles all cleanup logistics

Venue considerations

  • On-site parking not available
  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
Being in the events industry for over 24 years in the Seattle area, the UW Botanic Gardens was one of the first venues our company worked at and is still the best overall facility we partner with today! The communication and flexibility make the UWBG the most well rounded venue with its indoor and outdoor options, ample parking, supplies available on site and most importantly the kind staff that work there from in the office to the folks who are on site during the events assisting as needed. As a catering company it is refreshing that the UWBG is run by gracious people that have been well trained enough to understand their clients needs as well as what it takes to run an amazing event balancing everything from client & vendor needs, flow of an event, layout... they just get it! They make things easier for everyone, and both corporate and social clients should be very grateful that this centrally located space is available. It is a rare combination from my experience to excel in so many areas of the event industry all wrapped in one awesome venue.
