“We originally worked with Johnny for our engagement photos, and those turned out beautifully. Engagement sessions are included in the wedding package, and we were excited to have him photograph our wedding. Unfortunately, Johnny had to cancel just two days before our wedding due to a family emergency. While we understand emergencies happen, we wish he had informed us sooner, as we would have tried to find another photographer in advance. Johnny mentioned that he had been canceling on other couples over the previous weeks. He provided a replacement photographer Julee, but our experience with her was extremely disappointing. Many key moments were missed, including our first kiss, and the group photos were poorly composed some with light bulbs in our faces. Several images were blurry, dark, or had strange color lines, as if taken on a phone. Guests even commented that she seemed to be standing around rather than actively photographing the day. Overall, very few of the photos were usable, and the moments we wanted to remember were lost. When we expressed our disappointment to Johnny, communication was slow and inconsistent. He initially offered edits, which he provided after some delay, but even with his editing, the photos were still not satisfactory, and we had to do additional edits ourselves. The only usable photos we have are those taken by our guests. Johnny did eventually issue a full refund, though it took 5-6 weeks to receive it. While his engagement photos were excellent, our wedding experience was extremely disappointing and stressful due to the last-minute cancellation and the poor quality of the replacement photographer.”

“Booking Keleigh Michelle Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our 4/27/24 wedding. I remember feeling so overwhelmed with all of the options for photographers. I had no idea what our style was, or what we should look for or prioritize in a photographer. After filling out a million inquiries, Keleigh’s responsiveness and thorough replies was what initially made her stand out to me. She asked the right questions and helped me land on a package that made the most sense for our wedding without pressuring me or upselling me on anything. We were also drawn to her gorgeous gallery- her pictures exude beauty, sophistication, and pure emotion. Keleigh’s professionalism and talent are what sold us on booking with her. From booking to wedding day, working with Keleigh felt like working with a friend. I could text/email her with the silliest questions and know that she would respond, give me the info I needed, and hype me up! We had a beautiful engagement session on the beach, where Keleigh drove almost 2 hours to meet us at a location that had significance for us. She helped us feel comfortable in front of a camera, and delivered the most gorgeous engagement gallery. In preparing for our wedding day, Keleigh sent us a lengthy guide that answered common questions and helped us feel prepared for our big day. We had a call to go over logistics for the day, put together a list of people we wanted to have in portraits, and make a timeline for getting ready photos. Even up until the day before the wedding, Keleigh was able to accommodate details shifting without question. She brought Lindsey Morrissey as a second photographer who was also phenomenal. Leticia, Keleigh’s assistant, took some awesome BTS shots that are such a cool touch to have to look back at memories. On our wedding day, Keleigh commanded the room and got all of our portraits of us with wedding party/family done seemingly effortlessly right after our first look. I was anxious about getting all of these photos done and still having time to reset prior to walking down the aisle. Keleigh made the process so efficient that we finished with more than enough time to return to the bridal suite and hang out with our wedding party before lining up for the ceremony. We were able to sneak away for some more portraits after the ceremony, and had no doubt that we’d gotten all of the formal pictures we wanted in a timely manner while still being able to enjoy our day. Not even 24 hours after our wedding, we got over 50 sneak peeks from our gallery. We CANNOT get over how beautiful they are. We’ve had so many friends and family say that they are some of the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. We are so thrilled to get our full gallery back and hang our photos in our house, build photo albums for family members, and look back fondly on our wedding day for years to come. The Lane Studios originally started as a family & school photography studio many years ago. In 2019, we started offering wedding photography after years of many enquiries. The entire process is led and managed by couple-in-real life, Sean & Donnla, with Sean as the lead photographer on the day, and Donnla handling everything to do with client relations and bookings. We shoot all over the New England area - from the far reaches of Maine to the corners of Connecticut. Fun facts: Sean is a Navy Veteran and Donnla was born in Galway, Ireland.

“We heard of Sean (and therefore lane studios) from a family friend and decided to book him for our engagement photos. Sean was fully onboard for our idea to take photos on Martha’s Vineyard (where we got engaged) and made the whole time feel relaxed and fun! He even got our moody dog to participate and didn’t shy away or complain when there was an unforeseen incident of being overrun by ticks. We knew immediately after we wanted to book him for our wedding. Sean helped make taking all the photos relaxed and made sure that we had the time to do what we needed to do. He was a great advocate for us that day! We had many people tell us how much fun our photographers were and that they appreciated that they were easy going but focused. After sharing our photos with family and wedding party after I even had one person say they forgot Sean was there because he got so many great candid shots without making people feel like they had to awkwardly pose during the reception or having flashes going off in their faces. We cannot say enough good things about Lane Studios and Sean!”
