St. Paul’s Church sits on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay. The church, built in 1879, is modeled after a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble’s founders. One of the most photographed buildings in the area, the picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. Hood Canal Vista Pavilion offers breath-taking panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal while surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens . Six sets of French doors lead to a slated patio and an expansive grassy bluff right on the shores of the Hood Canal. In the spring and summer months, an adjacent tented terrace offers an additional location for a reception, dance floor and/or cocktail hour.

We had our dream wedding at Briarwood and it was the best decision that we could have made! Jessica was a great communicator and put us at ease as we were a bit nervous planning our wedding. The venue itself is SOOO BEAUTIFUL and has so many areas to play around with. It was difficult to pick only 1 space so we did each part of the wedding in different areas. The large open lawn space was perfect for our ceremony, we had our cocktail hour in the white blossom garden and then our reception in the Wisteria Den. It was all so magical and our guests were so excited about what was coming next. We haven't seen our professional photos yet, but I saw some sneak peeks and the venue is stunning for photos! Our favorite part overall was being able to stay at the cottages from Thursday to Sunday. We were able to load in our decor Thursday which made it so easy and gave us peace of mind that everything was in one location. Waking up on Friday morning and being able to walk around the venue a day before getting married was on of the highlights of the whole weekend. Being able to walk to our cottage at the end of the night after our reception was amazing. We spent the night of our wedding around the fire pit with our closest friends. We had the magical garden wedding of our dreams and I would suggest this venue to anyone and everyone if they are looking for an outdoor venue!

Cathedral

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Up to 80 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $2,200

We believe that people see the problems our world faces and have the desire to help, but often don’t know where to start. So we started Cathedral with one goal in mind — to build something that’s the sole purpose of existing was to make this world of ours a more just and beautiful place. Building things that matter takes time. Cathedrals took generations to build — those who began the work didn’t see its completion. The architect who drew up the plans would never see their spires rise. The mason laying the bricks would never stand under their cover.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Provides event staff

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No venue-provided food services
  • No free parking

The venue features elegant wooden tables that require no linens, enhancing the natural beauty of the space. Additionally, the fully equipped bar, complete with taps and glassware, is ready to accommodate any event's beverage needs. Cathedral is not only a visually stunning venue but also a place with a heart, dedicated to a meaningful cause. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and creating memorable experiences together.

The majority of our guests flew in from other states and it was relatively easy for them to get to the Graduate from Seatac (there is a tram stop right across the street from the hotel). Our sales manager, Sandy, truly went above and beyond to make our weekend special, and the whole staff was so kind. I can't count the number of comments we got from our guests about the vintage vibe and the aesthetic of the hotel, and the rooftop was a stunning location for our first look. The catering was amazing, both in the quality of the food and the presentation/service. Overall, we absolutely loved our experience!
