Skyview was the perfect venue for our wedding! We loved that we could bring our own catering and that the alcohol was provided. The bar packages are awesome. Jordan and Donna were so helpful from the beginning. Easy to work with, kind and very communicative whenever I had questions. The venue itself is beautiful, we got so many compliments on the ceremony space and we did very minimal decoration.

Whitehall was the perfect choice for our wedding! I was apprehensive about having a big wedding at all and was perfectly content with eloping or going to a courthouse, but ultimately decided to have a wedding for our families and the memories. Julia at Whitehall made this entire experience such a dream for my now-husband and I. She’s the venue coordinator but is also an angel that every bride deserves in the months leading up to her wedding and on her wedding day. She answered every stupid question I had very quickly, and is on top of things with sending emails to remind you about scheduling your rehearsal, nailing down your timelines, etc. One of the best parts about this venue is that you drop all of your decor off on the Tuesday before your wedding and they set everything up for you throughout the week! I literally didn’t have to think about a thing and could just spend the days before relaxing and tying up loose ends! We didn’t even nail down our vision for the centerpieces and most of the decor until 10-14 days before the ceremony, but Julia absolutely nailed it and everything was so beautiful! The day of the wedding, her assistant, Brenda, checked in on us while we got ready to make sure we were doing okay and she was the sweetest and just as organized and on top of it as Julia was. Before, during and after the ceremony, as well as during the reception, Julia checked in with my husband and I so many times to make sure we were okay and got us drinks if we needed it. She took so much off my plate mentally the week of my wedding and that was just so special and I appreciated it in ways I don’t know how to explain in 3500 characters or less. This venue has a caterer that comes with it (Taste of Excellence) who were also great to work with, and not having to make that decision was insanely helpful. I mostly dealt with Mikaela and she was very helpful with all of my questions and even accommodated us to schedule a second food tasting (something I don’t think they normally do) because my parents wanted to completely change the food options after the first tasting lol. Whitehall also has a DJ company included (Selective Sound Entertainment) who were great as well! Their online portal to actually select your song requests is a little dated and, you only get 8 “must play” songs, and the rest are more like suggestions for the DJ during the party but to be honest our DJ Jordan kept it bumping all night and it was SO fun he even had the bartender dancing with us from her station! I really couldn’t imagine doing our wedding anywhere else. I can’t recommend it enough and I’ll scream it into the sky for anyone who will listen!

We absolutely loved our wedding venue at both the Chapel and Hotel for Grand Pacific Junction. The two venue coordinators, Jessica and Erinn, were very knowledgeable and helped keep the event running smoothly. They went above and beyond with various scheduling and logistic challenges among our vendors. The space in the hotel itself was beautiful and required very little decorations to bring it to life. There were two restrooms downstairs and one upstairs. For our 100ish person wedding, I was worried bathrooms would be a logistic issue, but it was not! The bar was our favorite part of the venue with its vintage style and wide layout, so bar lines were never a problem. Every one of their recommended vendors exceeded our expectations. If I were to give advice to another couple looking to book Grand Pacific Junction, my only suggestion is keep in mind you likely won't have access earlier than the contracted time period, so adjust accordingly and keep your decorations simple, or better yet hire or appoint someone to do them! Decorations took longer than expected, and it altered the photography timeline which wasn't a big deal, but do keep it in mind. Thanks again to Jessica and Erinn for keeping everything running smoothly in the background and making sure my husband and I were truly hands off and enjoying ourselves the entire evening.

Wedding venue shopping is a lot on a couple. It takes time and energy and can be very stressful. However, when we say we found the perfect place we mean it. Donauschwaben’s was one of our venue choices coming highly recommended by our friends and family already. We reached out through their website and within no time we got an immediate response from the Christine, Event/ Wedding planner to set up a meeting together. She is not only extremely kind, but had everything organized so beautifully to choose from it was a no-brainer to choose this venue. She even recommended our DJ who had played a previous wedding there who was incredible. All communication leading up to our big day was efficient and layed out easily for us to understand. Our checks were deposited in a timely manner by the venue, our tasting was so nice and so delicious. The no pressure wedding planning was worth every penny spent. Our wedding day was so special and so beautiful from start to finish from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to our lovely reception to follow. Not only was Christine present the day of, but the staff was also on their A game all night long. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and kind, we felt like royalty. We both highly recommend this venue and if you do, definitely get the Schnitzel, Prost! The only recommendation to the venue would be to update their beverage packages to include seltzers such as High noons or White claws. My husband and I initially wanted to elope. That is, until, we found this space. If you want your wedding day to feel like an absolute dream, while still being intimate and beautiful, you need to book CoLab. We had our ceremony there, and it was perfection from start to finish. Maureen is truly everything—she was with us every step of the way, making sure everything was just right and exactly what we wanted and hoped for. She handled every curveball and question with total grace. The space itself is gorgeous. It's airy while still being moody. There are so many beautiful details around the space that make for a perfect backdrop. The decor adds so much to the space without taking away from your event. CoLab is gorgeous but I truly believe that it’s Maureen that makes it special. She genuinely cares about her clients, and it shows. I felt like I had a close friend there for me as we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, which is exactly what you want and need. Someone in your corner, hyping you up, and bringing the kindest presence to the day. Even if you opt out of her being there for you day-of, know that everything she does behind the scenes before the event is worth the cost and then some. If you want a ceremony spot that feels like a cozy, beautiful home for your big day, this is it. And if you’re on the fence—just do it. You’ll thank me later! (If you're doing ceremony-only at CoLab, I'd recommend that you book the extra lounge space, trust me! We booked both spaces and it made for such a seamless day and gave folks a place to mignle and chat before and after the ceremony!)

The Lake Erie Building

5.0

Lakewood, OH
  • Up to 349 guests

Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. We include a private parking lot and have a huge municipal lot across the street that's available to guests. We offer 3 wedding rental packages.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides event staff
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests
  • Wheelchair accessible

Venue considerations

As a bride, ease what you want! The Lake Erie Building took so much stress off of my wedding planning. They work closely with others vendors and provide so many goods and services to accessorize your day. The Lake Erie building is so pretty that it makes decorating a breeze, and the aesthetic is your photographer’s dream. I don’t know why you’d get married anywhere else in Cleveland!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner/welcome party at Bay Arts on 7/29/22. We had around 100 guests and worked with Chatty's (next door to Bay Arts) to plan a menu featuring charcuterie, pizza, desserts and, to top it off, a pig roast. The venue is like a secret garden - the outdoor patio, flowers and fairy lights make for an amazing backdrop. We had music playing throughout the night and the sound was great. Best of all, the people at Bay Arts were SO lovely and easy to work with. We worked with Kelly, who made the whole planning process incredibly easy for us. Although we were planning a party for 100 people, we didn't have a single stressful moment throughout the planning process. The night itself was a dream, and Bay Arts will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. HUGE thank you to Kelly, Matt & team!

Avon, OH
  • Up to 450 guests

Tom’s Country Place, established in 1959. Our venue accommodates 80-450 guests. Located in a wooded area on 20 acres of scenic grounds, our beautiful gardens provide a picturesque setting for your wedding ceremony & photos. In 1945 a hard-working farmer, Thomas Hricovec had a vision to cater to families with a welcoming atmosphere. His wife, Mary, stood by him and dedicated her time to help him in their journey. The two worked together along with family & friends to make their dream come true. Using their farmland, the Hricovecs changed their lifestyle from farming food, to serving food as well. They broke ground in 1958 and celebrated their first wedding in the fall of 1959. Thomas & Mary instilled the importance of hard work and dedication in their family. Now, third-generation owner Bill Hricovec, a culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales, along with our team, integrates traditional family recipes with a mix of new and innovative menu selections to offer you a wide variety of choices.

Why you'll love this venue

Tom's Country Place was absolutely wonderful for our wedding day. From the very beginning, their communication was fast, informative, and friendly, which put us at ease during the planning process. Ashley, our coordinator, was always so helpful and patient, never getting annoyed with my endless questions. The quality of their work and overall value was great - the food was delicious, the bartenders were fantastic, and honestly the whole staff was wonderful and willing to help with anything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day. Highly recommend Tom's Country Place!

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations

Hale Farm and Village was everything I could have dreamed of for our special day and more. The beautiful site was unique and every guest raved over the location. Even with the rain, it was stunning. Our wedding was on 9/28/24 so the property was open to the public during the day, but not very busy. We used the east side of the property and it was beyond picture perfect. The pavilion set the most perfect vibes for our reception, and the area behind the Herrick House was a dream come true for our ceremony. My husband and I did a first look and private vows in front of the yellow house, and were able to take photos on the entire property. It was MAGICAL to say the least. But this review is mostly for the AMAZING Miss Dotty. About two months before my wedding, I was notified that the person I had been in contact with and had been planning with was no longer with HF. Obviously, I was stressed and nervous to say the least. But once Dotty was brought on, and after one meeting with her my fears subsided. This amazing person did EVERYTHING in her power to help me achieve the wedding of my dreams. She came up with solutions to any issues, she offered ideas and thoughts for any question I had. This woman worked her butt off the day of my wedding!! With the change in staffing, and promises made from the prior, Dotty went above and beyond to make things happen. She also had a second wedding on the west side of the property the same day, and Dotty seemed to always be around when I needed something. When my ceremony was 45 minutes late... no fault of HF or Dotty (family drama)... and I was on the verge of a breakdown, Dotty came over to me and asked "you want to hear a funny story?" and continued to tell me something funny to distract me, and make me laugh. She made sure I wasn't too shiny from the stress sweat, and helped get things back on track. At one point she had the help of a young man named Alex (I hope that's right) who was just as kind and helpful as she was. Both helped with set up, and tear down. Alex helped fluff my dress before I walked at the ceremony as Dotty was closing and opening the entrance doors for me. They both seemed to make sure that everything could go as best as it could. I know for a fact this day would not have happened, and would not have been as amazing as it was, if not for Dotty. She is a superhero. Hale Farm and Village was truly a dream come true venue for us and our special day. But Dotty was a rock star and I am forever grateful for her, her hard work, and her kindness from the moment I met her. Thank you!!!

From the moment my bridesmaids and I arrived in the morning for beauty time, we felt so well taken care of. The staff was attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. We were totally on board and are so ecstatic to see the continual progress and development of the vision she first showed us! Our wedding is at the end of this month and we are beyond excited to utilize the finished space, complete with a luxurious chandelier, grand staircase, and of course ring the bell to celebrate our day. White Birch Barn was the perfect venue for our wedding vision. The location was absolutely gorgeous, with a rustic and romantic vibe that made our day feel so magical. Our first look under the willow tree was truly special. While the venue does provide a day-of coordinator, we would suggest getting an additional coordinator as we felt there was some unorganization and lack of communication from the owner that caused some added stress on the day. Overall, the venue was beautiful and we're so happy we chose it for our special day.

The Lantern Room

5.0

Cleveland, OH
  • Up to 120 guests
  • Starts at $10,000

The Lantern Room is an event space born of a passion for creative collaboration. As the 6th floor rooftop jewel of Church + State, it has been carefully designed with a modern aesthetic and infused with vintage and industrial accents to highlight the heritage of this historic neighborhood. As part of the Hingetown enclave of Ohio City, the Lantern Room has the coolest establishments nearby that guests will walk by and be able before and after your event.

Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • No in-house catering options
  • No dedicated areas for getting ready
We had our wedding at the Lantern Room hosted by Penthouse Events Cle at the end of August and the entire experience was amazing. The space itself is beautiful, but working with Ursula and her business partner Julio was just as much of a “feature” of this venue. We had so many compliments about our big day, and we both had a blast. I wish I could have bottled up the experience of the whole night to relive again and again. First, about the space: The Lantern Room, on the sixth floor of the Church State apartment building in Hingetown, is a unique, really cool space. We were immediately drawn to the large deck providing a gorgeous view of downtown and the lake. At night, it was magical! Our wedding fell over Labor Day weekend which of course includes the Cleveland air show. We were able to welcome our guests to a “pre” cocktail hour where they could watch the jet show from the deck before being seated for the ceremony. We got really lucky with gorgeous weather, a vivid sunset, and even fireworks from Progressive Field. The inside space is also quite striking, with lots of lovely natural light and options to customize. Between the deck and indoor event space, there were a lot of different options for guests to mingle and dance. There was even a fire pit out on the deck, and we rented a glow-in-the-dark corn hole board from our DJ, so there were options for guests who didn’t want to dance the whole time. The bar was outside on the deck and they were a blast as well! The drinks and the food from the caterer was all delicious - there were a lot of compliments about the signature cocktails and the dinners! We loved that the space was dog friendly as we wanted to include our dog in the special day! You can also rent a fully furnished private apartment on the floor right below the Lantern Room, which we utilized for getting ready. The apartment is spacious, elegantly modern, and so convenient. And between the event space and the apartment, there are so many great, distinctive backgrounds for photos. One small thing to note about the Lantern Room is that since it is in a residential building, the music/partying has to stop by 10pm. The vibes were so good, we felt like we could have stayed later, but it's good to end on a high note and we also arranged for a nice after-party at one of the great bars literally around the corner, so that was super convenient and a hit for our guests. Ursula was so communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. We were always impressed by how promptly she replied to emails. She helped form our vision and bring it to life based on just a few conversations and a Pinterest board that we put together. We truly felt supported in the lead-up and, most importantly, on the wedding day. It even came down to the little touches: for example, she helped come up with specialty cocktails that reflected our tastes well (including a bonus mocktail named for our dog!), put together menus that exactly matched the design of the other graphics I had made. She and Julio have great energy and clearly enjoy working together. The entire staff was so professional and our entire wedding day went smoothly. We were just so so pleased!
