Sweet E's Pastries is a small, family-owned husband and wife team who love creating desserts that are both visually captivating and delicious. E is short for Erin who has loved to bake since her grandma first tied her apron strings when she was little! Her husband Allen is often busy behind the scenes, building display pieces, keeping track of inventory, taste testing (quality control!), and delivering the goods.

The Red Bandana is a happy, healthy little bakery in Bethesda, MD. Owner/operator Jaimie Mertz went to culinary school in 2011 with the plan to become a pastry chef, and a year later doctors put her autistic brother Jack on a gluten-free casein-free diet to try to help with some behavioral issues.

Officially opened in 2021, Pinch & Peck Bakery is a small but busy home-based bake shop located in Herndon, VA. Although Pinch & Peck specializes in custom sugar cookies, the bake shop also includes rotating flavors of cookies, cupcakes and assorted baked items. Pinch & Peck’s owner, Kerrie, is having tons of fun as a small business owner and is loving having her hands on every aspect of the business, especially learning as she grows.

I’m incredibly lucky to be able to create mini works of art in so many different ways using such simple ingredients, all of which are edible. My love of art and baking has made an incredible opportunity to spread happiness in the form of food art, while working from home and enjoying my family.  It brings me so much joy to think of how many wonderful celebrations my work has been a part of. 

I fell in love with cakes at an early age. As a young man, I started playing around in the kitchen, now 15 years later KSR and Cakes is a full-blown business that includes floral design and decorating. I’ve created hundreds of cakes for a variety of events, including celebrity cakes for Treg Songz, Ms. April (Trey Songz's mother), Erica Dixon and DJ Babey Drew from Love and Hip-Hop and Wendy Raquel-Robinson from The Game.
