The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens is an enchanting wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. Dating back to 1890, this mansion was romantically constructed by John Mouat as an ode to his beloved wife, Amelia. The spacious third floor ballroom gives access to the top of the turret with great views of Downtown Denver and the surrounding Potter Highland neighborhood. In the 1890s, the ballroom originally hosted teas, dances and social functions for the elite of Denver through the 1890s continuing on into the early 1900s. Behind the mansion, is our amazing spacious garden. It is an oasis in the city. In the early 1970’s, Denver was able to save the actual clock tower from being destroyed. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it lights up the Denver skyline and remains a defining building for downtown. Now, the top five floors of this beloved structure are available for smaller, private events through Clock Tower Events. Located 20 floors up in Downtown Denver, the recently renovated space features décor that’s elegant & modern, breathtaking panoramic views of the skyline & surrounding mountain ranges from two balconies & offers guests the opportunity to see behind the mysterious clock faces.
