Capital Effect

The Capital Effect are the members of Lloyd Dobler Effect and have been full time touring musicians for over two decades, having performed in over forty states and thirteen countries. These rock n’ rollers have opened for The Goo Goo Dolls, Maroon 5, Kansas, and played sold out shows for packed audiences. They now perform over 75 weddings and private events every year as a full band, duo/trio and jazz events.

They boast a cover song repertoire of over 1000 songs that includes all genres. The band works with you to pick what artists and songs you like and happy to learn just about anything to make the night perfect and requests are always a big hit. At weddings, Chris and the band handle all of the reception live music, the Deejaying, the emceeing, band lighting and PA rental requirements. They also has the ability to perform ceremony music as solo, duo, or trio and/or live music during the cocktail hour.

Capital Effect was the perfect choice for our wedding band and DJ. From the very first call, they were responsive, organized, and really listened to our preferences. Their professionalism and attention to detail was evident throughout the planning process. On the day of, they were truly incredible - our guests are still raving about the entertainment and how packed the dance floor was all night long. The band was high-energy and so much fun, keeping everyone engaged and having a blast. We couldn't have asked for a better musical experience for our wedding. Capital Effect exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for an excellent, professional, and entertaining band.

This band is incredible. They were very communicative and professional, and a ton of fun at the party. We worked with them on the full set list as well as songs for during their break. They kept the party going all night and featured a ton of medleys.
